A list of puns related to "Remanufacturing"
Rather than buy a new office chair, I'm considering paying for my Steelcase Criterion to be reupholstered/remanufactured. It's a 1997 chair that's actually in good shape due to limited usage, but the fabric on the chair has seen better days. I've seen a few stores from browsing this sub that sell remanufactured chairs, but are there any that would perform the service if I have the chair? Does this become impractical due to shipping costs? If so, are there any service providers in Texas?
In response to the global climate emergency, the UK government has introduced a number of commitments via the Climate Change Act 2008 including NET Zero Carbon by 2050 and Greening Government Commitments to help UK government meet its domestic and international obligations agreed within the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Public ICT and digital services are considered key to the global climate crisis solution which led to the introduction of targets and goals set by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) in September 2020 within their Greening Government ICT and Digital Services Strategy.

I am interested to know how "core-charges" work. When I buy a replacement battery (or starter or alternator or compressor or...), say, and swap out the old one for a core charge where does the old item go? How much is the item remanufactured? Is it stripped for copper/lead etc?
Hello, does anyone have any resources for reverse engineering spur gears from motor and gear box applications?
I want to source local companies that can manufacture replacement gears for gearboxes we repair but I don't want to be at the mercy of another companies "reverse engineering" and then they make a part to the wrong tolerances.
Policy changes will bring more positive or negative impacts on the automobile aftermarket.
New situation of the automobile industry
First, automobile consumption is upgraded. On the one hand, the consumption of luxury cars increase, and the market share of Japanese and German brands are also expanding. On the other hand, the markets of Korean, American and French are shrinking. Besides, the growth of some independent brands is strong. The automobile consumption upgrades and the brand competition pattern changes will lead to obvious differentiation of brands and models around new car-related sales, after-sales, insurance, quality assurance, finance and other businesses.
Second, the new energy vehicles. Before that, new energy vehicles were driven by both policy and market. The epidemic results in the decline in sales of new energy vehicles, China extend the subsidies to 2022. The total number of new energy vehicles is expected to account for 20% of new car sales in 2025.
In the future, policies such as subsidy extension, "double credits", promotion of the public sector and improvement of the acceptance of private consumers will continue to promote the growth of the new energy vehicle market scale. At the same time, new energy vehicle service channels and patterns are also changes, including after-sales services.
In addition, the state encourages the development of electricity technology, which will also bring great opportunities for the new energy vehicle after-sales service industry. The quality assurance, testing and maintenance services of new energy second-hand car batteries will increase significantly.
Third, the second-hand cars. As a whole, second-hand car sales have grown faster than new ones in recent years, even in developed countries. But there is still a big gap between us and developed countries. Although the second-hand car trading volume dropped last year because of the epidemic, the growth space of the second-hand car market is huge in the long term.
Fourth, the second-hand car export. Starting from mid-2019, the Ministry of Commerce started to allow the export of used cars. Previously, only with a manufacturer's authorization were allowed to export. Now, all government-approved companies can export used cars. In the short term, the export of second-hand cars still faces the problems of high price and low profit, and low overall competitiveness.
However, commercial vehicles have shown certain advantages, such as diesel t
... keep reading on reddit β‘Ive been thinking about what if car companies manufactured old cars. It doesnt have to be a yearly thing. Something as simple as making them for the anniversary of the car. Is it possible? Has it ever been considered?Note i dont know anything about the automotive business.
Hi everyone,
I don't have any experience using Quickbooks but have been considering it for my next business. I will be repairing and remanufacturing a certain part for vehicles and was wondering what your opinions were for the best method in calculating profits for each individual part since they will each incur different costs depending on what they need.
Typical cost examples: cost of purchasing a core unit (broken unit), cost of parts required to repair the unit, and costs for powder coating.
All of the sale prices will be flat rate amounts depending on the model of the part. Is there a way in Quickbooks where you can keep track of the costs associated with each inventory item that is sold to be able to track the profits gained from each sale?
(Each part will have its own identifying part number and serial number)
Thanks!
