So, I recently purchased another set...
I have a love for Philips' Motional Feedback system (MFB) for as long as I can remember. It started with an uncle who had 2 Aristona 6544 with the reel2reel tape / amp meant for this. He gave them to me a few years later and I was very happy with them. Bought several more MFB-speakers, but at some point I decided to part with them.
A few years later, I rediscovered MFB again and bought new ones, they are actually on top of the latest addition I have.
Not so long ago, I upgraded the speakers in my office to the latest MFB-speaker, the Philips F9638. A complete recap was required and while we were at it, I also adjusted them to factory level again. They are still playing nicely in my office.
However, since these F9638 are sounding incredible (with a range of 27-40.000 Hz) and looking awesome, I bought another set and put them in my own private studio / listening room (as shown above).
So, my final set looks like this:

There's also a DAC connected to the iMac (MOTU M2) so I get that slightly better sound :)

I'm working towards a feature-length stop-motion animation film that's comedic and philosophical, like Monty Python with stuffed animals. I started shooting during COVID and I'm using Google Pixel 3XL for the camera. I'm also doing the voice acting. All props and sets are within my apartment.
Would love any comments on the concept/story, the set, or the cinematography.

So I created a little 3D animation of that cartoon.
Learning a new tool, so HCA gave me some motivation for that.
Notes:
Used Blender 3D modeler. Followed youtube tutorial for the base pacman, then created the rest. Used a sketchfab model (creative commons) of the blue ghost that can defend itself, coz saved me time modeling my good guy character.
Would love ideas on improving it.
Have not uploaded, but added an additional character, as I figured it wasn't completely fair w/just "red hats", so I added some shiny ones.
Have a HCA dedicated animation, following the *story* of the dumb ghost... so lemme know if you have a favourite HCA nominee/winner could contribute the shit-posting.
Also, previous idea someone gave me was using "HCA" as the 3-characters for high school.

Was thinking of using "AVG IQ:" & have it go UP each time covid gobbler takes one out.

HCA has been keeping me sane. And this animation theme is quite cathartic to work on. :)

Thanks for all the great input & feedback yesterday. Just posted some of your fantastic ideas, in a draft animation clip to test out the new characters.
Also one of the ideas where a gobbler animation is based on HCA posts.
