A list of puns related to "Microtonal music"
What would be the easiest way to play quartertones on a keyboard? I've got two which are plugged into garageband and have been wanting to record stuff similar to this song (starting at 1:00). Thanks for any help.
What I mean by that is that I'm thinking of making a Fiverr account in the future (currently I'm too busy) offering to make music for indie videogames, but I wanted to know, we always talk about "getting used to non-12-edo" and it seems that unless it's an abstract/horror track, I couldn't put some microtones. Do you guys think I could put a little microtonality here and there?
Iβve just discovered microtonal music and wanted to experiment with it but didnβt want to buy an expensive custom instrument, so I tuned my lower three guitar strings a quarter step down. Iβm assuming that this way I can play power chords and use the top three strings for normal notes and the bottom three for microtonal stuff. Has anyone else here done this before, and do you have any advice for writing music for this? Iβm completely new to microtonal music, but Iβm excited by the prospect of using the βforbiddenβ notes π
