A list of puns related to "Melinda Shankar"
Iβve been watching corny Christmas movies on Netflix. Two Iβve watched so far Melinda Shankar is in them.
Just sharing in case anyone wanted to check them out. They are both really corny just a fair warning. But it got me in the Christmas mood! :)
I just found out there are two seasons of a show called "How to be Indie" which stars Mindy Shankar (Ali) and the girl who played Farrah (Sav's arrange to be wife.) AND Cam (Dylan Everret) there are two seasons and she had to have filmed this show while being on degrassi because the two overlap but it's interesting thought I'd share unless I'm late to the party lol
Sav and Alli were cute siblings, right? Just thinking, don't you think it's weird that the actors who played them (Melinda Shankar, Raymond Ablack), dated in real life?
Like imagine shooting a scene, being like "Hey sis" ,then making out 5 minutes later in the break roomππ€’
I wonder how they got through that awkwardness enough to date.
I think I saw someone post something similar to this about a year ago, but what were some episodes that you remember (can even date back to the Degrassi JR. High and Degrassi High days), where they had cast members give a public service announcement type of message before, during or after the episode to either talk about what happened in the episode or to offer resources and support? These are ones that I remember:
-Aubrey Graham (Jimmy) gave one about gun violence/school shootings during βTime Stands Stillβ
-Jessica Tyler (Jenna) gave one about teen pregnancy and safe sex during S10
-Dylan Everett (Cam) gave one about teen suicide after βBittersweet Symphonyβ
-Jordan Todosey (Adam) gave one about support for trans youth after βMy Body Is A Cageβ
-Stacie Mistysyn (Caitlin) and Pat Mastroianni (Joey) gave one about teen suicide before βShowtimeβ in Degrassi High
-Melinda Shankar (Alli) did one about abusive relationships in S13
-Ana Golja (Zoe) gave one about sexual assault in S13
-Jamie Johnston (Peter) gave one about drug use in S9
-Daniel Clark (Sean) gave one about drug use in S1 after βJagged Little Pillβ
-the entire cast around S2 or S3 did one about HIV/AIDS
Any others that Iβm missing? A lot of them are on YouTube (all of the ones I listed above can be found on YouTube), but I feel like there are some I remember seeing that I couldnβt find. Let me know if thereβs any that maybe you guys only saw air live and canβt be found online anywhere!
I imagine when youβre working that close with people for years on end, feelings naturally have to develop between people right?
With that being said, do we know any actors/actresses from the show that have dated in real life?

... keep reading on reddit β‘I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Growing up as a Degrassi fan, and seeing Oleander, Ali, and Jane on Slasher (Have there been any more?) I kinda want a season of ALL Degrassi people. But obviously not in their Degrassi characters.
And if you have no idea what I'm talking about, Mr. Oleander is Chris Jacot (Robin, Antoine, Seamus), Jane is Paula Brancati (Violet/Christy....I'm blanking on her names for seasons 1 and 2) and Ali is Melinda Shankar (Talvinder, season 2)
Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT NSFW, THIS IS ABOUT LONG JOKES, BLONDE JOKES, SEXUAL JOKES, KNOCK KNOCK JOKES, POLITICAL JOKES, ETC BEING POSTED IN A DAD JOKE SUB
Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"
I'm not even referencing the NSFW, I'm saying Dad jokes are corny, and sometimes painful, not sexual
So check out r/jokes for all types of jokes
r/unclejokes for dirty jokes
r/3amjokes for real weird and alot of OC
r/cleandadjokes If your really sick of seeing not dad jokes in r/dadjokes
Punchline !
Edit: this is not a post about NSFW , This is about jokes, knock knock jokes, blonde jokes, political jokes etc being posted in a dad joke sub
Edit 2: don't touch the thermostat
Do your worst!
How the hell am I suppose to know when itβs raining in Sweden?
Ants donβt even have the concept fathers, let alone a good dad joke. Keep r/ants out of my r/dadjokes.
But no, seriously. I understand rule 7 is great to have intelligent discussion, but sometimes it feels like 1 in 10 posts here is someone getting upset about the jokes on this sub. Let the mods deal with it, they regulate the sub.

I guess the concept didn't work
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
