I've been going to legal since I was a tourist 12 years ago. I've kept going just because with my gf since we moved up 8 years ago every so often.
It seems that since their buyout, they've severely gone down hill, in food and service. Anyone else notice or just me?
P.S. yes, I realize that their is much better seafood options but you can take the kid outta Florida but you can't take the Florida out of the kid that just likes a dumb chain restaurant.
We just wanted to give a shout out to Legal Sea Foods for having an incredibly reasonable and well picked wine list! We are in the Boston area and this was our fist time to this restaurant chain. The wine list is curated in part by Sandy Block, Master of Wine, and is incredibly diverse and well priced! We enjoyed a 2016 Mayacamas Cab Sauv which was definitely tight but opened up over a couple hours. This wine was driver by brambly dark fruit with eucalyptus and herbs coming to the surface with time in the glass. Highly tannic with some nice acidity and a looooong finish, this was a great introduction to the producer. And even better, they sell these for $70! Anyone in the Boston area should definitely think of checking out these restaurants if only for their reasonable and diverse list.
I just think it’s nuts to think about! Small little sea creatures and crustaceans chowing down on the remains of French food, melons…when the heck else would that ever happen to them?! The unlikelihood of some random North Atlantic crab getting to eat a French brie!
Because is the most e-fish-ient way.

A new smoothie bar has popped up a few months ago in Bassendean and I just found out they are putting Herbalife in all of the shakes and juices. They call themselves a "Nutrition Studio".
They don't disclose this anywhere and if you ask them via private message or on any of their social media they delete and don't respond.
This is obviously unethical, not to mention potentially dangerous if you were going daily and unwittingly exposing yourself to herbal supplements which have been linked to lover toxicity (PMID: 27677775), but is it even legal?
Apparently this is not the only one in Perth and they are popping up all over the shop.
If you're ever in Boston, you should really give this place a try. They have an excellent allergy protocol that is attentive to wheat, gluten , and dairy. Highly recommend. *spelling
Hey everyone, I saw this sub and thought you fine folks would enjoy this interaction. To give some background, I work for a cable/ internet company in the customer care queue. We have translation services for our customers for any language you could imagine, so no matter what you can get assistance.
Call beeped in, Woman comes on gets verified and seems normal enough. After a few moments it becomes clear they are either faking their accent or I am speaking to a cartoon character. The verification part went smooth enough, I attempt to uncover their needs / figure why this woman took time to call in.
Not to make light of her accent but It was so over the top. She began telling me I hacked her DVR and replaced the voices with silly noises she began making with her mouth or maybe they were pre-recorded. Think of a kid making “bing bing bing” and beeps and hoops. As she is carrying on, I notice her accent would sometimes go in and out, from Bostonian over to Chinese. But we pushed forward.
After clarifying she called in because of stated/ perceived noises on her tv recordings, she then told me she wanted to know the true message in the beeps, so she closed her eyes and turned up the volume as high as the tv could go, and she heard the hidden message. “Pay (company) money” then starts making noises like “Ching Chong ho cho cho” it was really hard not to bust up... these are noises I had not heard since elementary. Silly grade school level humor but It was just too random. but you know the life. Recorded for quality and training purposes.
At this point I have had time to read the notes we have saved in the system. “This person does not speak Chinese / mandarin , please do not contact translator services any further” so I figure this is it, I’m the one jumping on this grenade, no way to pass this bird around.
Not knowing where to go, I offer to send box reset signals because honestly wtf else is there man. She doesn’t have time for that though. She explains she is too busy, getting ready to meet Obama. At the legal sea food court. By the bay.
I used assumptive closes for the remainder of the conversation (handle time) and wrote down some of the best quotes (see above) as a sort of trophy for my desk

Hi guys. I have a backup restaurant (La Veranda in Pompano) but that’s the restaurant she took me for my birthday already. Great place, amazing food AND vibe (equally important).
So, what would you guys recommend that has great food and a equally dope vibe that’s hopefully not super expensive?
My husband and I have agreed to get divorced once we return to the states in March. We're unsure where we should file though and how to prove residency since we've physically been living in Germany for the past four years due to him being in the military. Our possible options include :
- Arizona : As I still have my drivers license with the state and was born and raised there. This is where my family currently resides.
Ive read that you must be a resident for 90 days prior to filing, and although you wont be asked to provide proof, you are sworn under oath that you are a resident.
- Indiana : My husband has his drivers license with the state and his family resides here. He also pays taxes here.
- New Mexico : This will be our next duty station.
We would like to be able to file as soon as possible, but we're at a lost on all the residency requirements and if we physically need to be living in these states in order to file. Or if there are some exceptions for the military.
