I've never watched a single Hollywood movie in the theatre. Can't stand the dubbed version. And can't get easy with the accent in English either. I've heard conflicting experiences from people. Tickets don't have any info related to this.
I don't want to miss Spiderman NWH fdfs, but to fully relish the experience I'll need subs :(
As in inside an actual condo? I’ve been here several times since I’m a delivery driver on the side. I’ll include photos but most are old..it’s kind of a secretive place. They have this grand lobby with marble floors, chandeliers, unfrosted glass doors. You are greeted by an elderly doorman wearing the classic doorman uniform. You are not allowed to deliver anything without the doorman escorting, even though they know me because I’ve been here multiple times I still can’t go alone. I read this article and was glad to see I wasn’t the only one with questions.. The author had the same curiosity I did. there is hardly any cars in the parking lot, only a few condos have chairs on their balcony, it’s super quiet. It just feels like a place for millionaires or even billionaires to hide out. I tried to look up how to rent or purchase a unit and found nothing. I don’t think many live there so maybe it’s just a referral thing. As a courier I’ve been to massive estates with gardeners and maids, as well as luxury downtown condos, but this place is an entirely different level..
What really interests me is that I heard this place was on a tv show (Family Affairs tv show) during the mid century era AND it was built by the creator of Swanson TV dinners, the doorman told me this. It has such an eerie vibe…I always leave with so many more questions..has anyone else been here or have more info on this place?
