Henry (given name) Puns

This builds off an earlier post I can’t find now about Emily not being Henry’s last name but instead being Charlotte’s middle name (if anyone can link the post, that would be great).  Basically, the OP noted that having a child’s first and middle name on their gravestone is fairly common. I can confirm my cousin’s gravestone is set up the same way as is my wife’s nephew.

So, if Emily isn’t Henry’s last name, what is? I was watching the “Sister Location Decoded” theory from just before that game came out and I noticed something interesting. When MatPat goes through the source code of Scott’s website, he notes a “CRMN_institute” and calls it the “Carmen institute”. I don’t think anyone ever gave that a second thought at that time. I know I never really looked into it. But seeing it this time got me wondering; who the heck is Carmen? We’ve never seen that name anywhere is the FNAF universe to the best of my knowledge. So who is it?

Remember that this is the same source code that first introduce the name Afton, which was confirmed in Sister Location. Could Scott have been trying to give us Henry's last name too? My theory is that Henry Emily is really Henry Carmen and that Charlotte is Charlotte Emily Carmen.

As far as what the Carmen Institute is, it may be a company Henry formed before meeting William. But I think its more likely one he formed after splitting with William. Remember, some company purchased the name and rights to Freddy Fazbear prior to the events of Pizzeria Simulator. I think Henry formed this company to be able to fight against William's legacy legally by buying the rights to everything and getting all the animatronics in one place physically and corporately.

I had a pretty fun idea today. imagine if Shiiro's Au wasn't an Au, if it Elizabeth, Charlie, Henry etc. were all Ocs, what names do you think they'd have?

of course they can't have names like Henry Emily, Elizabeth Afton, I wanted to make up their ''names'' with the Sub, so I have brought multiple names that I think fit Charlie, chose the one you think fits her the most

here are explanations for why I think some names fit Elizabeth:

Sheila: this could be a reference to Elizabeth's refusal to try and understand Charlie's point of view, Elizabeth victimizes Henry (the abuser) and refuses to hold him accountable for his shitty actions (even if they are detracted towards her. for example: not calling the police on Clara and William)

Scarlett: red can mean danger, anger, fire and violence which I think would fit with Elizabeth

Please don’t shoot this down as ‘anti-eth’ or ‘complaining about gas fees’. I’m just curious what keeps other people here holding Eth? I am basically holding mine until fees drop and I can exit or the roll ups save me.

The other chains are more readily scalable, generally quicker and cheaper. Yes they aren’t as ‘big’ but, let’s be honest, for most of our purposes that is pretty irrelevant.

I'm wondering your thoughts on self given native names.

For example, I was given a native name at toddler age, Pretty Dancing Girl. But as we usually do, I outgrew it. (Not much of a dancer now haha. Nor too pretty LOL)

I'm sadly distant from any native family (save for my mom) and not connected with my tribe (oglala) as I live in Alaska.

Due to a very beautiful lucid dream I had, I adopted the name Bird Woman. Which fits me greatly. I am very connected with birds. I raise birds, I feed wild songbirds, I go outside and they land on my hands. I've had hawks dive low and fly beside my car.

But I don't want to disrespect my ancestors by doing this, even though in my beliefs, I spoke to them through lucid dreaming. (And while I believe that is 100% real, I'm always open to the fact it may not be, hence my asking this question.)

I'm unsure because if my understanding is correct, natives didn't name themselves. Please correct me if wrong

Calling her “Hilary” is giving her actual non exotic non unique birth name an exotic spin that muddies the waters and could lead someone to think that her birth given name did have a Spanish influence from the start, which it did not. It’s just Hillary.

Edit: I’m all for the nickname variations, btw. I’m not in anyway against those, I use them too. The need for proper spelling of her name only applies to when we are referring to her by her birth given name, so that it is clear that she was not given an exotic variation of the American name Hillary at birth.

Like for me back in 98 when I first played I used some friends’ names and one celebrity (don’t ask me why haha) with the exception of Glenn and Janus. Once I had the latter in my party, I changed it to reflect his true name since he was on our side. Just curious to hear everyone’s names.

Currently I'm in the design phase for my OC—who will be the Main Character of a Fanfiction that will be hundreds of chapters long, if not well into one thousand. The MC's current name is "Sol(e)". Originally I was debating between Sol or Sole, so I described it to some Discord buddies as Sol(e). However, I now unironically adore the name even though it was special characters in it. I wouldn't be surprised if an eccentric name like this turns off potential readers and Grammar enthusiasts. But I really like the way it looks.
