A list of puns related to "Frances McDormand"
I'm curious to see what the r/shakespeare consensus is regarding this film.
This performance is the best female performance I've seen since Charlize Theron in Monster. Such a layered performance and the overall film is absolutely remarkable. It's crazy to think this is movie was a debut film from Emerald Fennell. Usually movies with this kind of theme can be heavy handed and preachy, but Fennell's script and Mulligans performance makes it so good.
While she does seems like leading character, she is absent from first 30 minutes of the movie. That's huge minus.
As for almost any Coen's movie, Fargo is ensemble cast movie with no clear lead.
Blood Simple,No Country For Old Men and Burn AfterReading are similiar examples.
If anything , Fargo-city and kidnapping are true leads. haha
Both H.Macy and Buscemi are from start to finish and have more or equal screetime like McDormand here.
The screenings will be first come, first served, and will be free. See here for more info: https://shakespeareatthecinema.com/

She's not related, but I noticed more than passing resemblance. Anyone else done so?
Offhand I canβt think of anybody i would less want to play her.
Something about putting Frances Mcdormand into that role feels extremely masturbatory for the Coen brothers.
