So at dinner my sister was talking about learning to play the Viola and the different notes on it. My mom then started talking about the range she could sing at and my dad butts in and says, "Well, I just try not to be flat." I laughed so frickin' hard I swear it was the funniest thing to happen all day.
"Did you hear that"
"What?"
"The bee, when I squished it."
"What about it?"
"It made a funny sound, like a music tone... I think it was a B flat."
Dad (doing a crossword puzzle): What is a music note with four sharps?
Me: I don't know, but I bet it ain't flat and dull!
