A list of puns related to "Cookie Clicker"
I saw a post about CC getting workshop support and I was like, what the hell is this? Went to the reviews and saw people had thousands of hours. Turns out it's a whole genre, awesome!
So I go to the browser version to see what it's all about, and ah yes....... Purchased it on steam and already have 3 hours logged.
Thanks random pcgaming mention for cookie clicker, it's awesome and from what I can tell, old AF and there may be better games to check out.
Runescape has been my '2nd screen BS' game for 20 years but I feel like i've opened a whole pandora's box now. I'm also aware of Melvor Idle, I gave it a quick go but I'll re-check it back when I'm done (??!) with Cookie clicker.
Melvor and NGU seemed less polished/cute and I didn't quite like the deeper menus, but then again - i'm almost overwhelmed with the possibilities so I'll circle back around eventually.
Send help. This is my life now.
I'm a senior in high school and starting a project on optimising cookie clicker strategy without golden cookies, upgrades or ascensions; just the cursors, grandmas, and assortment of weird sh*t that somehow ends up making cookies. Turns out my smooth primate brain barely had enough juice to get going, and I've hit a serious roadblock. Is anyone down to help me on this? Or share how somebody else has done something similar? I would seriously appreciate your help cause my teacher prefers to play candy crush and tell me to find a different idea.(it will also be a neverclick run aside from the first beginning 20 cookies)
1: is it worth it, its free online
2: if i do buy it, can i load my web save or do i have to go from the start
I was on a vacation ob break, and after coming back after almost three weeks me and my friend's saves were both completely wiped. Using HTTPS on iPad Air 4, iOS 15. We both only have saves from around November, so that won't work. Any reason why or how we can recover? By the way, he was maxed and I had 93% of heavenly upgrades.
Hey weβre back with another gaming challenge!
So cookie clicker is an infinite game, and no I wonβt ask you to just play for the whole 24 hours duration for this challenge lol
So this one will be more like a small speed run:
So go here: https://orteil.dashnet.org/cookieclicker/
Then be careful as that is when the time will start and u gotta start clicking!
So there are upgrades, buy them as donβt keep the cookie counter high, I mean u donβt need to, cuz I will now tell u how to gimme proof
So try to make as many cookies as possible! THO AFTER 15 MINUTES YOU STOP and take a screenshot like this, showing ur stats:
https://imgur.com/a/QzXhSu7
Pls also add the total number of cookies in ur comment so my life will be easier when I have to find the winner who will revive a a gold award or a coin gift and 2020 veteran.. u choose!
Edit: Pls buy upgrades as they give u more cookies! Then u will be having more total cookies!
Challenge ends in 24 hours!
Itβs good to be back π (also thanks to Moshe especially hehe)
It's a pretty cool web game actually to pass the time. Usually I just leave it open while studying or doing other stuff online and visit it to buy upgrades and stuff every once in a while.
So we all heard about these borderline "not games" that are basically idle, you click a big cookie to get more cookies and buy upgrades like bakeries so you get numbingly more cookies and so forth. What if I tell you that in this game β that although didn't invent this genre, but made it viral β is so much more than mindless clicking and waiting.
The game in it's beginning is very simple and traditional, just farm cookies and build exponentially more expansive buildings to get more. Then, you can unlock special minigames that go DEEP and help you make more cookies β on your farm, you can have farming minigame, where you plant and breed different types of plants that buff your production and how the breeding process is rare and extremely indeph. How banks have it's own minigame which is full blown stock market simulator (called Dough Jones Index) where you buy stocks and shares of cookie ingredients and try making money, hiring brokers and buying more inventory upgrades... One of the minigames is full blown dungeon crawler that took 7 years to program.
Also besides minigames, Cookie Clicker keeps you engaged with 700 achievements, some so puzzling and hardcore you need to be psycho to compete them, mechanics like golden cookies and evil cookies, you buy grandmas and they can revolt and hate you, there's full blown seasons and holidays in this game etc.
This game is also a very on point critique of capitalism at first, and when you start making bazillions of cookies per second, it becomes even better lovecraftian horror, with cthulhu like worms etc. I'm sorry if this sounds like an advertisement, this game came long way since 2013 and is still going wonders, it's bit taxing on hardware by just being a 2d game and some really really late endgame can take too long but that's about it. And not to mention how it's being made and kept alive by just one person. I'm kinda sad I don't see this little gem discussed here more.
i click the cookis and forget about my problems :D
