I used to browse broadsheet.ie on a daily basis years back, found it engaging and often funny, found the comments section to be an interesting cross section of views. Recently reacquainted myself with it and, jaysus, what the hell happened?
Articles posted are often seemingly legitimising wildly inaccurate agenda driven 'news' and the comments are a cesspool of anti-vaxxer right wing hysterics who collectively jump the merest hint of a dissenting viewpoint. Were they bought out by Fox or something??

These all started to fight among themselves, so that the globes, which were first in the sun, flew out to the ones standing on both sides, thereafter, the globes standing outside the sun, in the small and large rods, flew into the sun.
Besides the globes flew back and forth among themselves and fought vehemently with each other for over an hour. And when the conflict in and again out of the sun was most intense, they became fatigued to such an extent that they all, as said above, fell from the sun down upon the earth 'as if they all burned' and they then wasted away on the earth with immense smoke.
After all this there was something like a black spear, very long and thick, sighted; the shaft pointed to the east, the point pointed west. Whatever such signs mean, God alone knows. Although we have seen, shortly one after another, many kinds of signs on the heaven, which are sent to us by the almighty God, to bring us to repentance, we still are, unfortunately, so ungrateful that we despise such high signs and miracles of God. Or we speak of them with ridicule and discard them to the wind, in order that God may send us a frightening punishment on account of our ungratefulness.
After all, the God-fearing will by no means discard these signs, but will take it to heart as a warning of their merciful Father in heaven, will mend their lives and faithfully beg God, that He may avert His wrath, including the well-deserved punishment, on us, so t

There is also a picture of a hammer with a speech bubble next to it reading hello!
The next part says Your neighbors probably don't want to hear about it. so then I thought, "okay, by 'metal tools speaking', they just mean rusty and creaking."
Then I continued reading. But WE do! Visit 27 Ralen Place. Ask for K or N. Bring the talking metal with you.
Why the sudden switch from metal tools to just metal? And weirder, why are the two people you ask after are referred to by letters? Are K and N significant somehow?
Please let me know if I'm either grasping at straws or if this is nothing new. Also please let me know if you have any insight to add.
So, I've searched the subreddit, and a lot of people have mentioned the "do your metal tools talk to you?" ad in the New Ascendancy broadsheet (from BoM). What I find much stranger is a detail in the serial story ("The Ghastly Gondola") that seemingly mentions Hoid:
"After disembarking the lift, I walked to the location where my foe would have hit the ground. I found no trace of him, and though no one witnessed his fall, a young white-haired man was there and offered to tell me a story. I declined."
This is about as obvious as Hoid gets: white hair and storytelling. But I find it strange that this detail which fails to advance the plot and takes up all too many of the precious few words the broadsheet-writer has to work with is included. Obviously, the stories of Nicki Savage are as embellished as Jak's, but this weird detail is all too real, and it makes me wonder if there's truth to the Haunted Man's mysterious energy weapon gun thing (and, at a stretch, the kalkis, or Unknown Constructs of Antiquity). It has runes on it, but I don't think it's [Elantris] >!AonDor (they glow green, not silver/white). !<Some unknown offworld magic? Or just a fiction to add excitement?
We can be pretty sure the story is part truth and part exaggeration. Hoid is presumably true, but even then it seems a strange and unimportant detail to include in the story (perhaps some suspension of disbelief is required on that part). So is the energy gun also real? If it really uses ghosts of some sort, then it'd be the first green ghosts we've seen in the cosmere (Thredonite shades have their green eyes I guess). If it just seems like a ghost, then AonDor (or perhaps a similar Selish magic) is plausible.

Rhythm of War spoilers >!Now the K and N is probably Kriss and Nahz, and it seems like at first this is hinting towards them looking for something like Nightblood, however after Rhythm of War I have another theory - the Sleepless disguise themselves as tools on Scadrial. This would explain the Sleepless that disguised as a pen to spy on Wit, this might of been one from Scadrial.!<

I might have overcensored the title, and it fits the sub it's in fine, but it's still a photo of an ad so it fits here.
I used to go there daily, its seems to have fallen off a reality cliff. Went to have a look a few times over the last couple of weeks and almost got a cramp from all the head shaking I ending up doing...
My mother-in-law gave me a pullout from the Sunday newspaper on investing and trading. There is a 2-page article on GME and 'activist investors' that completely misses the point and raises the concern of amateur traders making "wild and risky bets, putting their capital at risk".
This quote really stood out though: "...the objective is primarily to give a black eye to other investors by mispricing shares. This upends the whole purpose of investing, which should be to allocate capital with companies that will make good use of it and return profits."
They are trying to villainize us. Be prepared for this when the MOASS happens. Many will not understand what we are fighting against. Stay strong Apes.

Aside from a passage about biases (hehe) and details about KPop albums, the editors also decided to use the shots of Hyejoo's and Yeojin's solo albums as well as a group shot of pre-debut albums bundled together.
The article can also help those who are new into KPop album buying get an idea of how the secondary market around it works, and whether it's a good idea to buy them to resell them later.
The print version also came out yesterday in the Manila Bulletin.
