I get Star Wars is science fiction, so we can't draw too many parallels to real life, but the closest animals to banthas that I can think of are mammoths and yaks, both of which live/lived in relatively cold climates. The best explanation I can think of is that, like Earth's hot deserts, Tatooine gets really cold at night, so the hair keeps them warm. Anyone got a better explanation?

Well, that's it, I'm done... Member of a top 100 in the world guild here, a mixture of whales, dolphins, and elite first day players. We've all been enduring this fucking marathon travesty of incompetence for seemingly eternity. Now you release this new "improved" conquest and it's fuck-all in every single possible way. I swear if it wasn't for the Star Wars skin and the Star Wars community this game would have died out years ago, because that's how poorly it's created and handled. The scale of incompetence is nearly unfathomable and seemingly neverending. No other profession could fail this badly or often and still have a job... So I was talking with some of my fellow officers of several years about the latest cancellation of content and we've all just decided fuck all this shit, we're all done... At least 5 elite players gone in one fell swoop, likely several more that have been on the borderline as the news travels through the guild. Thank you CG for shoving us all out the door... 🙄 We should be some of the people that you actively cater too as our guild does have some spenders, but it just doesn't matter when your content is just one steaming pile of shit after another, never, ever ending... The beginning of the end for me was GL's... First off, their Godlike OP nature is just patently retarded, but even worse, the farming and unlocking of this new pantheon of deities is an absolutely torturous marathon even for whales... What the hell ever happened to a game being fun? Well, you somehow sucked the fun right out of Star Wars. Congrats you incompetent, clueless asshats; that's a feat only matched by the creators of the latest trilogy...

So in closing, the Star Wars community is awesome. I've met many new friends along the way from around the world. However, I and many of those I know just cannot handle this shit anymore. It's just been far too much for far too long. I know we cannot be the only ones. Be very careful CG, because a very fragile levee might break that will lead to an irrevocable torrent of quitting if it is put under much more stress at all. The community is in an extremely bitter mood right now. You had better tread very lightly or you might regret your actions. Someday I hope that the Star Wars community might get the game they deserve, that is worthy of their huge appreciation and passion for Star Wars. This is not that game...
