The Emperor has seen it fit to mobilize the Scandinavian army. 500,000 Swedish men, and around 200,000 Finnish men will now return to their bases and await further orders from the Emperor. A partially call to arms has also been sounded for the reservists. Another 500,000 ([META] I have a modern version of the old Swedish Allotment system, where towns of a certain population had to produce soldiers for the King.) men, all trained and armed from their training given from the Allotment system, have risen up and are awaiting orders, though they are still free to work and stay at home until further notice.The Caroleans have also been spotted lounging on the bridge connecting Scania and Sjælland, fully armed and alert. The Swedish Navy has also been ordered to patrol the Baltic, primarily the Sound, and the entrance to the Baltic Sea. There have been some rumors floating around that this is a precursor to something momentous, but it could just be a large military excerise, who knows? The Swedish government has not officially given an explanation to the mobilization.
I've got an allotment nearby but there is absolutely no power, etc. I've googled around but being a beginner i'm not sure what my options are for external power, such as solar or wind.
For an irrigation system i'd be looking at powering on/off twice a day, possibly checking the soil moisture level and irrigation if required.
For a wildlife cam I'm thinking of linking to some kind of movement sensor, powering on for a few hours a time and sending the images/video to a local SD card.
Any suggestions on equipment, sites, blogs, etc. where I can read up on the basics and get testing?
The Swedish Military Command has issued a statement, formally introducing the Modified Allotment System to the Swedish Military. The allotment system was the form of conscription that the Swedish army used in order to keep a trained fighting force at all times. The Modified version is that instead of regular soldiers, who are still under the system, reservists are expected to be able to fight as well, when the time comes. All settlements with more than 1000 residents must produce 10% of their able-bodied men as reservists. The reservists are to undergo training every week, to hone them, and to have them be on par with the regular Swedish troops.

Some ground rules:
- The max you can add to a stat is 12. You can't just dump all 24 points into Res for a meme build (unfortunately).
- If you do decide to increase a stat, the minimum that you can do must be at least 6. For example, you can't put 12 into Attack and 10 into Defense, and put just 2 into Speed. While you can opt to not buff a stat, if you do the minimum has to be 6.
- Finally, at least 3 stats must be boosted. You can't just do 12 into Attack, and 12 into Speed; 3 stats must be boosted. Combined with the previous rules, it also means the max number of that's can be boosted is 4 since the minimum boost you can do is 6.
Examples:
- +12 HP, +6 Def, +6 Res: This sets up Jagen as a purely supportive role, boosting his bulk to a considerably good 49/31/41 HP/Def/Res, making his HP high enough to trigger Pulse Ties, and his Res more competent at Sabotages and Ploys, as well as take better advantage of his Veteran's Lance.
- +8 Atk/Def/Res: This effectively turns Jagen into a F2P-friendly version of Duessel. Combined with his Atk Superasset and his Veteran's Lance, Jagen hits a much more solid 60 Atk with the effect triggering. His defenses hit a solid 33/43 Def/Res, letting him survive physical blows, and completely wall out mages.
