A list of puns related to "Winterly"
I was texting my friend about Arnold Schwarzenegger's Mr. Freeze and his fun winter puns and realized that Kumail may just be a perfect casting for the next Mr. Freeze!
He's funny, he's fit, and The Big Sick is surprisingly close to Mr. Freeze's backstory -- so he's got a personal connection.
But maybe after seeing the Eternals I'm just jonesing for more of Kumail in comic properties.
I have a headcanon that predators are usually seen as really strong, tough and agile compared to prey so the sports world is mostly dominated by predators. There are prey sports teams of course, but they usually have one or two predators on their side to give them an edge.
My Arctic Fox Ice Hockey Team is based in Tundra Town and they're a bit of an underdog team and they don't particularly get treated well, what with the whole Anti Fox bias Zootopia as, but they're really good regardless.
I've got a name for their rivals, an all prey team known as "The Toothless Wonders" (sharp teeth is a predator stereotype) which is a name that is supposed to be them bragging about "Oh, look at us! We're so good that we don't even need a stupid Pred on our team to back us up! Who needs them?!" but it also unintentionally comes across as that they're so bad they get their teeth knocked out a lot. (A case of where the arrogant/prejudiced team THINKS they have a cool name but are unaware of how embarrassing it sounds.)
But I can't think of a name for the Arctic Foxes. I was going to name them the White Foxes or Arctic Blaze, but the whole point is that their name emphasises that they are an all fox team, so when they recruit a penguin (one of the main characters) he seems even more out of place. Any ideas?
Also, does anyone have any Arctic Fox Ice/snow/winter pun surnames? I need to give these foxes their own individual names.
I started a new game when 1.4 came out on PC. After a chill winter (pun intended), spring is here again. I open up the barn and the coop to let my gals out into the grass, and...
They're not eating it.
I keep having to refill the trough. Not completely. It seems only half my animals are dumb. But, still.
What's wrong with you, animals? Fresh spring grass right outside your door and you want moldy hay leftover from last fall.
Sheesh.
I was bigger when I was growing up, my peak being 185-190 at 14. I buckled down and lose a good 40-45lb. It's starting to creep back up again. Getting off of the scale last night, I'm 175. I'm 5'7. I just have this fear now that like I'm returning to a place, or, I guess a weight, that wasn't exactly a high point in my life and it's got me freaked out. I know what's caused it, I frequently dine out with friends, I don't always order the healthiest stuff, then I delay the gym because of schoolwork + classes, which I use as justification, then Thanksgiving rolled in, Christmas coming up.I just feel like I'm losing control again. According to the numbers, technically I'm overweight. I don't want this to snowball, pardon the winter pun. While my guess is that my parents simply don't want to bring it up, my younger brother has actually voiced concern for me, but, it was done in this super nice, non-annoying way.
TLDR: How can I keep the weight off for good?
First experience with my new Arizer gadget today. Ordered a little attachment so I can use my Solo with my bong. I thought it would be something different, but wow, my expectations were surpassed. Vaped a bowl in two sessions with the bong and I am on the moon. It almost seemed like I was getting more vapour going through the bong as well? It this a thing? The anxiety and adrenaline of driving in the first blizzard of the seaon have melted away. A winter pun. Kill me now. Only six more months of this.
So if this is something you haven't tried, I say do it! I could not feel a thing, and even just vaping can make me cough sometimes. Only combust with a bong these days. Peace, and drive safe.
Okay, so I get why Winter Soldier is their Hawkeye for Week 3. Itβs a winter pun since this is their βChristmasβ event. But what does Lilβ Groot have to do with anything. Heβs not an animal nor does he have any ties with Winter. The only thing I can think of is a Christmas Tree but Big Groot and then making a Christmas Groot costume (even putting the costume in the crate) wouldβve been a much better choice for that.
Felt like arranging some songs for the anniversary so decided to start here!
