My SO and I have an opportunity to live and work in Wenzhou. It sounds nice - waterfront and mountains, cooler than Shenzhen and with less spicy food.
So... is it actually nice there? After years in SZ I want something quieter, more cultural, without malls every block. My SO wants less spicy food and we both want something where the cats can get out. We're older so hardly into the club life any more. It's more board games and walks.

WKX's fascination with ZZS was obvious before their match in the cherry blossom garden near Mirror Lake Manor. A deadly killer with a hidden agenda attempting to discover the identity of a mysterious man he considers as a "variable" to his plan could have been carried out in any setting, but the choice of the ambience here--the beautiful dreamlike place, soft pastel tones, the fight sequence synchronised to look like a dance, the OST playing in the background--is nothing but romantic. This is also the scene in which WKX's shameless flirting game kickstarts its engines. Watch it unfold in its pink glory HERE at 10:40 mark.
It's Perfect - EP 3
Fated to Touch because I Saw My Chance and Took It
WKX spends most of this eventful night smirking and smiling while staring relentlessly at ZZS. On the surface, it is because he is impressed with ZZS's expert masking of his true self. He feels the skin to check just how good the disguise is. There was, however, no heterosexual reason to sniff and lovingly gaze at his own hand for coming into contact with ZZS. A few seconds later, ZZS asks him if his current appearance is pretty, and he replies, "It's perfect." I read somewhere that this part was adlib-ed, which makes it perfect. ZZS has been very upfront about his feelings for a while now. He may still roll his eyes whenever WKX says something corny, but when things get serious and heavy, he doesn't hesitate to comfort the latter. He instinctively knows how to say the right words and do the right things. The hug (which is their first) was so sweet and touching...but YOUTUBE FANS GOT TO SEE LAO WEN TOUCHING AH XU'S WAIST FIRST TAKE THAT YOU PEOPLE WHO FINISHED WATCHING ON YOUKU.

This scene might not be THAT iconic compared to the other examples I've included here and in my previous posts, but for me it is very important for two reasons: ZZS made it obvious to the viewers he knew WKX's secret and he might have tried to show WKX it didn't matter, and WKX's vulnerability was exposed to us. He is afraid of losing what he found by chance--the most valuable thing that could take him back to the world of normalcy, which has not only sorrow and regret, but love and companionship.

One of ZZS's many talents is his people skills. WKX can charm people, but ZZS has this admirable ability to handle them at their worst. WKX's dramatic entrance was expected but still glorious. He has been fiercely protective of ZZS from the start. The highlight of this scene was the affirmation of his love for ZZS. Seeing him weak and injured brought out the crazy in him and he would have gone on another killing spree if ZZS hadn't stopped him. The point is our first impression of WKX as someone who's very much in control of his emotions must change at this point. I might be getting a job at a university in Wenzhou and I'll be moving from South Korea. I just wanted to know a few things before my move
- How difficult is it to move around the city and the suburbs? Is a car necessary?
- How difficult is it to buy a car in China? I just need something affordable since I am not sure how long I'll be there. Insurance, car, costs, gas prices, etc.
- What can someone do on weekends in the area? I not a big partier so any other options are good for me. (sports, cafes, etc)
- What is the average cost of living per month for a single male? My housing will be 80-90% covered by my employer, depending on where I choose to live.
- I would like to get some insight about entering the country with a pet, so if anyone has done it I would love to hear your experience. Especially nowadays with covid.
- My cat has IBD and would like to know if anyone can recommend a good veterinarian because I want to make sure my pet is covered if something happens.
- Are there pet hotels in the city? like the places, I can drop off my pet and they look after it, in case I have to leave the country and have no one to look after it?
- Any general tips, ideas, and advice I should know before moving to China or Wenzhou.
