A list of puns related to "Chelyabinsk"
Hello!
Did anyone of you guys study in SUSU Chelyabinsk?
I am an international student, and I chose it for next summer.
My questions related to that uni are:
Are their dorms ok? I am used to seeing videos about russian dorms showing how terrible they were, which I kind of understand after all, you pay $40 for a year.
But thing that game me hope is that that uni offers a lot of stuff in their dormitory area so maybe they are good? What do you think?
And if push comes to push comes to shove, I will rent an apartment near by, how much should I expect for a cheap one-bed-room apartment (is 10-12K a fair price)?
And last question: I follow a Russian youtuber called NFKRZ and basically he always trashes Chelyabinsk because there aren't a lot of things to do (it doesn't bother me) and there a lot of Gopniks (I don't mind it, I can defend myself if needed, but it's good to avoid)
What are you thoughts? ps: I only chose it because their uni is the only one that offers a masters degree that I really want in English, so I can't go to other states, and I will be starting a business there as well)
Which city is best to study Russian at? I picked those two cities because it's a small city compared to Moscow so there will be almost no English speakers at all so I will be fully immersed in the language and culture. Both Perm Dtate University and South Ural State University offer a 10 month Russian language course which is reasonably priced.
I am from New Zealand and also qualified to teach English and I got a Celta certification so I could possibly make money tutoring English but my main goal is to learn Russian.
Both of these regions are located between Bashkiria and Kazakhstan and yet there are so few Kazakhs and Bashkirs in those regions. What's the reason for this?
