Mr Echo is good condition, no box, fun as hell but I just have too many delays. Fernweh is mint, just received it a week ago. I like it a lot but, again, too many delays and I haven’t taken the time to really dial it in the way I ought to. Includes box and goodies. Mjolnir is excellent condition w box and goodies, a pseudo-feeler but I think I wanna try a different OD. Interested in other Klones, Nobels, whatever else but not a Tubescreamer guy. The guys at Walrus Mustache Co. are trying to do something a little different; make a mustache wax that gives you a good hold while staying true to being vegan. This wax is made with nothing but plant based oils and waxes.
I was skeptical at first how well an entirely plant based stache wax would do against the thick hair of my mustache. But, always looking for new wax to add to the shelf, I decided to give it a go. Once my wax arrived the first thing I noticed was the smell. It has a very woody, earthy scent to it which was very pleasing to both my nose and my partners. I really like a wax that has a natural scent to it without a ton of added essential oils so I was really happy about this one. It seems like they get their scent just from the mix of their ingredients and nothing else.
Before heating up the wax it is very tacky and stiff which is always a good sign. Any wax that I can scrape up without heating just doesn’t do anything for my stache. I put this tin in my arm pit for a few minutes while I was doing other stuff to get ready for the day and in about 5 minutes the wax was very easy to work with. It end up getting very soft and scrapes up easily with just a fingernail. Now, I was a little worried at this point because a wax that is that soft usually doesn’t hold well and I end up having a droopy stache. I forged ahead anyways using about a half pea sized ball on each half of my stache, gave it a nice comb through, and shaped it up.
Guess who was pleasantly surprised? I prefer a more natural look to my stache…the days of curling the ends around are past for me. This wax does a great job of getting all those stray hairs in place and giving me a nice slight curl, and it doesn’t make you look like you have a ton of product in your stache. I didn’t have any drooping of the stache or any separation of the hairs even after drinking and eating. You will need to do some touching up during the day as this wax doesn’t completely get back to the same tacky consistency once you get it in the stache. Your body heat keeps it somewhat pliable so if you are constantly messing with your stache like me you will end up stripping some of that wax out.

A video I saw a long time( ~5-6 years) ago on youtube with an upcoming artist walking around some meadow singing a kind of rap or spoken word song.
