A list of puns related to "Voip"
My name in game is AGamerGrill. In the past two days I've had two separate people ask me if I'm a real gamer girl without me even using voip. I was holding Rasmussen with two other people and someone runs up and says "are you a real gamer girl" to which i reply "ooohh so you're a hacker". Then he has the genius reply of "it was just a guess". Then he asks us if we want free loot to which i reply "i just want you to leave us alone" he then proceeded to head eyes every one one of us. I would have posted a video but since wipe nvidia shadow play hasn't been working for me :(
Would be cool to jump on the mic and make a public service announcement to stay clear of Mantis, because Killa is going on a tear there. Or any other meme worthy announcement.
This will benefit no one.
I will take no questions.
I am surprised by the amount of cheaters that are blatantly outing themselves. For the first time most of reddit finally understands the amount of hackers in this game is crazy.
I also dont understand how fly hacking and speed hacking isn't solved with an auto kick already like most games.
I was running Interchange to finish Big Sale earlier and popped into Texho to check it quickly. Lo and behold, found the last gas analyzer I needed. I heard footsteps coming up the escalator and got a lucky shot on an absolute Chad coming around the corner, but he blacked both my arms and my stomach before my broke ass caught him with some 9x19 pst gzh to the face. I heard more footsteps nearby, so I put on my tough voice and yelled:
βYOU WANT IT TOO, BITCH? IβM RIGHT HERE!β
He did not, in fact, want it too, and ran off. I was in no position to fight again and somehow my bluff got through, I immediately ran off to a successful extract. VOIP is a great addition to this game.
Santa is listening
I was playing a Scav on Reserve and spawned in right next to the Armored Train Extract right when it pulled in. Loot the area and sit in the train. After 10 mins of peaceful boredom I decided to be the Conductor. Over VOIP the second the train whistle started I began screaming, βALL ABOARD, Ticket or No Ticket all are Welcome! All Aboarrrrdddd!β And I heard footsteps! Ah! A Passenger! We make eye contact out the window, I scav wiggle and happily invite him into my train! He walks in without saying a word and blasts me point blank in the face.. Guess not everyone uses/cares about VOIP lol. A shame, itβs gonna be hard to extract without a Train Conductor I tell you what.
I've noticed a lot of newer players are going into factory doing their scavs and they're shooting at other scavs who are VOIPing them to stop shooting. I wonder whether having voice on by default would stop so many new players ruining their scav karma by trying to kill anyone they see, most the time they get their shit rocked anyway because they miss every shot anyway and then get 1 tapped in the head
Hey guys I'm sorta new to game (lvl4/3.2m currently),
I've done about 30 scav runs, and I almost always run into other players/scavs who are super nice! Most of my voip encounters end up being great!
Yesterday I was trying to unlock Jaeger on woods, and Everytime I finally made it and got the note to extract I either died extracting or got lost. So yesterday I spawned in woods 10 feet from the north bridge extraction directly in front of a PMC who was about to turn me into swiss cheese. I told him I been trying to unlock Jaeger but had a hard time, and no joke he decided to walk me there, get the notes and Dona full extraction that took up the entire remainder of the time even though he was about to extract. He even killed 3-5 scavs, let me loot up a TON, WE ARE TALKING ALL THE LOOT DROPPED! And he took me to a safe extraction point SW and I was able to unlock him. I was super happy.
I really enjoy this game, lots to learn but I really enjoy the voip chats with cool people in the game, anyways just wanted to say I love the voip system and not everyone wants to murder you on site
Like the title says, saw this in the newest Pestily video.
Like the title says, my friend already reported him, I was "lucky" he didn't shoot me at all while I escaped through gate 3. He called us by our PMC's name and made fun of us, claiming he was gonna one tap us (which he did, head-eyed my boi in a single tap).
My friend plays with the EU server so we jumped on his server to do the next run and after some time we got to a fight in offices with some guys that we kill but amdist all the fighting we both get made by the same hacker that killed my friend on last raid even though we switched servers from 2 specific server in US to 2 specific servers in EU.
Is there anything we can do against that? This is infuriating but also creepy as hell.
For the last year or so, whenever the topic of VOIP came up anywhere, I was 100% against it because I had such negative experiences in every single game that had it. So why would EFT be any different?
Well, it's almost been a month since the patch happened and in that time I have had two instances that would be considered "bad", but even not that bad by any stretch of the imagination.
Pretty much everything has either been absolutely hilarious or just very wholesome. So many times I have had a player scav drop an item I was looking for, or I was able to drop one for them or direct them to where I just saw it. I've extracted as a player scav with a PMC at a shared extract a few times and as a PMC with a player scav once. VOIP has made it a lot easier to trust people as once you hear their voice, you know at some level their intentions.
In every other game that has had VOIP, you run into people being super loud/annoying on mic. Shouting some of the most bigoted things or just being an all around garbage person. Everything I have personally experienced, as well as watching a lot of streams the last few weeks, has shown me that VOIP in EFT can be and is great.
The only thing I can think of that would make it better, is being able to report people abusing VOIP on your death screen. Because if they kill you and as you're dying they say something bad, you can't report them for VOIP abuse as that is only able to be done in the Mumble Menu in raid. Granted, I have never had to report anyone, but it would be nice for the rare cases when someone's gloating after a kill crosses the line.
Yesterday I was spamming factory runs to complete huntsman path: controller. I ran across a little timmy running around the forklife area of factory asking where the a key was. I told him to keep checking jackets since there's no static spawn. I asked him if I could flash and kill him for my quest (we were getting cornered by another player and he was not going to make it out). He agreed. I flashed and killed him (I didnt get credit for the kill lol).
Now here I am cornered and stuck in the red spawn room before forklift and the factory hallway. I peak my body out and get shot. I yell "ow that hurt." I realized then that I was out of flashes. So I offered, "you need any quest kills, tremor etc?"
The guy over VOIP said he needed tremor kills (he was also doing mosin kills). So I offered to shoot his legs to help him out. He agreed and I shot him with a round of flechette to the leg. He didn't get a tremor and wouldn't let me shoot him again (with good reason lol).
So I turned around and told him to end me so he could get his close range mosin kills. He thanked me and killed me.
My next raid I was stashing gun powder in the breach room. Some guy and his buddy ran by (he killed his buddy by accident since he was new and not comming where he was etc). I told the guy I was stashing gun powder which was the same task his friend had. He told me he'd guard the hall way for me from scavs while I spend 90 seconds stashing gun powder. I went to leave the raid, popping some painkillers and jumped off a ledge toward a factory exit. I proceeded to get headshot mid air by scav :).
And before all this, like 2 raids prior, a guy agreed to help me and then shot me in the head (even though I didn't have shit).
VOIP has made this game a super pleasant and fun experience, even though I still get betrayed by people.....
EDIT: For some clarification, I go into each of these scenarios fully expecting to be killed. I don't just assume people will help me or be friendly lol
I am having so much trouble picking a key or button for voip. I feel like all my real estate is taken. Interested to know what everyone is using?
Why does everyone seem so angry about the possibility of being betrayed through VOIP ?
I actually think it adds a lot to the game, considering Tarkov is a survival game set in a lawless, savage territory...it perfectly fits the setting and the spirit of the game. It's not always about cooperation and people tend to be selfish.
I think it's a legit strategy and people shouldn't take it so personal: always be on your guard.
(+ Scav karma brings balance to it)
Edit: shitty english
the amount of lowbies i see lately who dont respond to voip is insane and i keep ending up killing them when i just want to give them loot, i dont get the point of having it off by default and the game not telling you that its even in the game
I was playing BfV yesterday on wake island breakthrough. We weren't steam rolling the defenders, but at the last point they call out in chat that we have a hacker, and no surprise, there's a guy going 111-3 with an lmg.
This made me realize just how important these 2 features are. No anticheat is perfect, and once they move onto the next title if we're not able to call out cheaters to everyone on the server or get definitive proof they're hacking the game is going to be inundated with cheaters.
Edit: I meant all chat, not voip
to clarify: I mean AI scavs
Last one was running across the ship on shoreline to get to scav island to drop a marker, at the last minute I spot someone running out the house towards the ship, take cover and hear them run under the prow. VOIP that we're probably here for the same reason and it doesn't need to come to violence. No answer so I then explain that I'm pistol running with no extra gear so it's pretty much a zero sum game and we may as well co-operate. Nada. Couple more minutes trying to be a bit more hardline, 'Okay I don't want to do this but if you make me come down there I'm going to put bullets in you, doesn't have to be like this, it's up to you'. Eventually hear them back off, have a wee peek to see what's happening and some shots ring out but I drop them in a couple of taps. Check the body, no dogtags, suddenly realise what's gone down and give thanks that no-one was around to hear me make an arse of myself for an embarrassingly long time.
I had someone try to rush me while spamming loud music, I shot them and they backed off and I replied "your a piece of sh*t" over voice back at them only to INSTANTLY see a message in the bottom right of "your instance voip abuse has been reported". So if you double tap y, there is a report button, that instantly reports anyone currently speaking in the area. So not only are they spamming their mic they have already learned to spam the report function against you as well. The answer is to immediately hit your VOIP Disable/Enable key and actually probably just to push them while they are messing with unnecessary buttons, but that's up to you. GL. I flagged this as 'issue' because report spamming could potentially be an 'issue'. If that's not correct logic then I would call this a discussion.
Voip is off in the setting be sure you turn it on so I can tell you to hold your fire
So far I've seen someone saying they're gonna be the interchange pharmacist and someone else claiming to be the snack man at customs New Gas.
So just wondering, who else has some ideas for PMC NPCs that I should be on the lookout for?
Edit: first post to make a significant discussion! Thanks for all the suggestions you guys got some hilarious ideas
To try convince someone to drop his weapon? To trade? To troll? What cool situations are you expecting with the introduction of this feature?

Is anyone else experiencing the random bots that load in and recite religious lines until they are kicked from inactivity? its really weird and i have seen over 20+ different accounts doing it
So in my experience, today I was in the cottage on shoreline, and there was a person on the second floor. As I walked in he asked, βhello? Are you friendly?β, to which I did not respond. After waiting a little while he came down, thinking I was gone, but instead, I was waiting for him and killed him. This actually made me feel so bad, just hearing him be friendly (maybe) and not intending to do any harm to me, and I just killed him. Just like that.
If I would have done that without voip, I wouldnβt feel a single thing, but his voice, this voice is hard to forget now.
This is pretty accurate to this situation also: https://www.reddit.com/r/TarkovMemes/comments/rud0oh/i_describe_killing_someones_after_they_voiped_me/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
Anyone else getting this? At first I thought maybe people were around me when I heard .5-1 second of talking but then I was at the far back of the train yard on lighthouse and the blips of someone's voice was still coming through. It happens every few games it seems. And way more often on the last second of my extract for some reason.
A horrible fucking day, like I despise these people they revolt me they represent everything I despise, I hope both sides of your pillow are hot and you trip on your massive piles of trash in your room. I hope these people add a few extra 0s to the flea market when they list ammo costing them millions, I hope they get exfil camped while having a slick in their backpack, I hope when they are a pmc trying to get a quest done a sweaty chad comes and blastes their ass strait to their hideout I hope there's a round of .366 In there mag for there 7.62 ak I hope they spill mountain dew on there keyboard then stub there toe I hope there is bread Crumbs on there mouse pad driving them mad. I hope when they go to reserve glukar triple taps them in the face with m993 and when they get mad and go to betray people on shoreline one of sanitars goons throws a 70 yard nade and it explodes 2 inches from there nose. That is all.
Got home and read the tweets that guy sent out. I canβt imagine putting time into a game that just doesnβt give a shit lol. Hopefully more ppl will delete the game and not buy it. Iβll at least do my part.
Itβs just a disaster. If you need toβ¦workβ¦βworkβ on a SCOREBOARD. Just put a scoreboard in and get VOIP working immediately. The fact that youβd even release a shooter with no VOIP or scoreboard. Itβs straight up pathetic.
I donβt care about Reddit karma or anything really. Just wanted a standard bf game. And itβs not even that much different than a crap F2P steam game. Just posted to add more warnings to ppl. I just donβt think itβs a game bf players should support.
this is going to be great lol

Happened to me today. In 2021.
I work for a VOIP telecom company in a tier III group whose primary customers are small and medium sized businesses. We work tickets that (should) have been vetted and troubleshooting has already been performed. We do not take inbound calls from customers unless we reach out to them on an active ticket and gave our direct callback number.
Around 3:30p today my phone started ringing. It's common to get spam calls and I hadn't lleft any messages so I ignored it. Then the number called again. And a third time. By the fourth call I finally picked up.
Me: Thank you for calling VOIPcom. This is Neekogo, how can I help you?
Caller: Hi Neekogo! Im with (random customer company) and we are hard down. My boss told me to call you because if anyone could get us working it's you Neekogo!
Me: (super confused) umm....that's not how this normally works. Do you have a ticket or case number for reference?
Caller: No we don't but here's our account number.
While she's on the phone searching my systems trying to figure out how who they are and how they got my direct unpublished number. I find nothing but figure I must've worked on a previous issue and they saved my number.
Me: Okay so my group doesn't take direct customer calls for issues. You'll need to create a case at our website VOIPcom.com and one of our agents will open a ticket with my group if they are unable to get you working.
Caller: No I can't do that. I have no access.
Me: Well there's a chat bot to assist you as well.
Caller: No, I can't get to the website at all.
Me: Wait you have no access at all? You can't get to any website? VOIPcom.com? Google? Facebook?
Caller: Nope, it's all down.
Me: Okay, now this is starting to make sense. Your phone service with us requires internet access. If your internet is down then it makes sense your phones are hard down. This is either your network equipment or it's your ISP. You'll probably need to reach out to your ISP. Until then your phones aren't going to work.
Caller: (slightly disappointed I can't fix it) oh, okay. Thank you. <click>
After she hung up I sat at my desk for a few minutes just flabbergasted. Yes, your VOIP phone service does require Internet to work.
Nuff said...this game is bad but i still do like playing it, but no voice chat is just so incompetent in an mp game.
So, I had my first raid today. As I have for years now, I go to woods for my first raid. It's a magical experience, and a Shturman kill early on is always nice.
I was hesitant to play this wipe; I left at 12.9, furious with how Tarkov was playing out. The movement was killing me, I wasn't winning gunfights because I could never get the weird movement bs that alot of the sweat lords were using. My hands ain't what they used to be. Regardless, after the announcement regarding inertia, I decided when it gets implemented, I would return.
So, back to the raid. I come across a (full 5, come to find out) stack of players inside of ZB-014. They must HAVE heard me running up. I was an idiot, and didn't think anyone would be in there. So in a panic, I grab a grenade, ready it, and then click my VOIP button (which I set to caps lock).
"Hey, dudes in there, I'm cool, I hate BEARS, I hate USEC, Scavs suck, I'm just walking through the woods to clear my head. Hoping I can come down... take a breather." I went full roleplay. Figured why the hell not.
"Sure!" was the reply from Bunker boi 1. "Come on down, have a drink, get some food, just don't shoot our guy outside!" Followed by a very startling "Peek a boo, I coulda killed you" from Mister Outdoors.
I told them I'm putting a grenade away and coming in, and...
It was lovely. We talked about current events (which I was roleplaying, so I acted surprised when I heard news of the outside world), We shared food, one of them threw me an AKMS, which is one of my favorite weapons. Eventually we figured out we shared an Extract, and extracted together. It was a great time.
Fast forward to my second raid, polar opposite, on customs. I got into a vicious firefight in Drug house. VICIOUS. Grenades, Auto fire, healing, etc. THE WORKS. Dude and I were having a blast. Eventually, I just started talking.
"Who hired you? Whats your job?" I asked, still roleplaying. Of which, he responded... in full roleplay as well.
"Prapor, the fat fuck. He has me out here killing scavs, like you!" He said.
"USEC?" I responded.
"Ya, why you fucking scav?" his retort.
"Dude, I'm USEC. I COULD HAVE FUCKING KILLED YOU!" I yelled. "I'm coming out, just look. Just check. I'm holding my hatchet."
He checks, and realizes I wasn't his target. "Oh shit bro, my bad. What unit?" I make up a callsign. "Word bro, 2-1 Gator here. Shit... My b. Need anything?"
"Ammo, and meds if you can spare." He spared some, and we talked a little, and went our w
... keep reading on reddit β‘Since the wipe I've had a lot of friendly encounters using voip but I never really used it during a fight. Yesterday though, my battle buddy and I were running interchange to pick up some books and stuff when we ran into an enemy squad in one of the offices.
My battle buddy got turned to swiss cheese within the first 3 seconds of the encounter and reported that the enemy is running igolnik. His vector full of ap 6.3 was laying there in front of me who was carrying a shitty mp9 I picked up from another player in my previous round - but I couldn't risk retrieving the vector, it was in the line of sight.
That's when I heard a voice with a thick European accent - "Hey we don't have to fight you know"
me: "but then why'd you kill my buddy"
him: "eh...I mean we still don't have to fight?"
me: (thinking for a minute) "...you still killed my buddy. Fuck it let's fight"
after about a solid minute while both of us are holding our breath he says
him: "Hey! come fight!"
me: "Fuck you! come to me!"
him: "oh alright, let me smoke my cigarette, drink my coffee...."
me: "Oh you goddamn europeans and your espresso"
him: "HOW DARE YOU"
me: "ahaha jk jk"
him: "COFFEE AND CIGARETTES ARE NO LAUGHING MATTER"
and then he rushed me, we traded but I bonked his head first with a pst. To my surprise there were 2 more enemy who also traded bunch of trash talk until I was down to my last mag and breath.
We lost, but by god we had FUN. Thanks Nikita for an awesome experience.
It was a rainy afternoon on Interchange as my buddy and I player-scaved into the mall in a feeble attempt to recoup our losses after getting obliterated on our PMCs on Shoreline. As our Scavs loaded into the map with 25 minutes still on the raid timer, we knew there would be bodies to loot and PMCs to ambush.
We made our way past KIBA and Mantis until the tantalizing sound of automatic gunfire perked our attention. My duo and I allied with another bloodthirsty player scav and the three of us converged like vultures in the direction of potential loot.
After what felt like an eternity of sprinting up and down escalators, I heard a voice over the proximity chat from the nearest food stand.
"Hey man, let's talk this out. Let's work together and we can all get out".
I reply to the unknown voice, "PMC or Scav?"
"PMC". He responds.
"Sorry man, its one of you and three of us, I hate to do this but it's the only way" I say as my random Scav buddy approaches while I ready my (47 /100) durability AK-74 loaded with 30 of Fence's finest 5.45 PS rounds.
The rando player-scav sprints into the food store, firing his shotgun desperately towards the direction of the PMC and is instantly cut down with a withering hail of suppressed 9mm ammunition.
βOne down, whoβs nextβ, says the disembodied voice with steely calmness.
At this point my mind is racing and I am positive my Scavβs unarmored thorax wouldβve been soaked in sweat if it were an ingame mechanic. To make matters worse, my duo informs me over discord that his internet has crashed and he has disconnected from the server, rendering his character the equivalent of a defenseless balaclava wearing manikin.
βHeyβ, I call out, βperhaps we can come to an agreement where we can all benefit. What are your conditions?β
βI just want to get out of this raidβ, he says.
βScav camp?β I ask hopefully.
βDeal, but you stay in front of me at all times. If either of you (me or my duo who has reconnected at this point) shoot, I kill you bothβ.
βUnderstoodβ
I get the PMCβs permission to approach and I finally see the mysterious USEC I had been communicating with. The first thing I notice is a suppressed MPX sticking out of the darkness, followed by a fully kitted gunmetal grey Caiman helmet, a modernized, ergonomic SVDS strapped to the figureβs back, finished by a massive tan backpack.
βLetβs go, we need to get the fuck outβ he says.
My scav nervously gulps and I use my free-look keybind to nod vigorously.
I lead the
