Thank you in advance for reading this.
I have been a victim of multiple sexual assaults throughout my life and I never spoke about any of those events to anyone until recently because It happened again and adding that event to the things I just bottle up wouldve made me implode. I talked about it to a friend, after asking if I could rant about something I was going through, I told her that I was in a domestic violence situation and that my boyfriend was abusive in multiple ways, I also told her I didnβt want to get involved with the law (at least not yet) for multiple reasons. The conversation felt very cold, she said supportive things but it seemed as tho they were taken out of the internet, they werent her usual supportive words, I dont really know how to describe it. One of the things she said that stuck with me is this :
βIf I may add, as much as legal stuff is shitty, sometimes itβs necessary to not only protect yourself, but make sure it doesnt happen to othersβ
Its been a month I think since I told her about the situation and I keep replaying that phrase through my head and it feeds a feeling of guilt because I dont want him to do the same thing to other people and I feel like I would be responsible if it happened because I couldβve prevented it by reporting it.
I wonder if that is a form of double victimisation or self blaming, or if that actually helps some people to bring what happened to them in front of the law. I feel very distant to her because of it and Im not sure if its justified or if I am just overreacting and distancing myself for no reason.
Thank you again for your time, And sorry for any english mistake, its not my first langage.

Hi everyone :) This is my first time posting here! I really hope this makes sense and sorry for the wall of text. I hope my Trigger Warnings are appropriate, let me know if not!
I've been out of my parents' home and in therapy for 10+ years and have really turned my life around! Recently my therapist told me she thinks my dad is a narcissist. This was a surprise to me as I had never mentioned it to her, just described his behaviour. She says she of course can't diagnose him, but it's likely that I experienced heavy narcissistic abuse from him and that's why I have bad CPTSD now.
I started reading up more on covert narcissism, which is what I think my dad has. There is one video that describes how covert narcissists act in the work place, and one really struck me - they will play the victim and find every opportunity to file grievances/complain etc and think everyone is against them. This year I had a lot of issues with my lab group, and I have had a lifelong issue of believing everyone hated me, my lab group hate me, etc. It's a bit of a complex situation, I am also autistic and there was a big misunderstanding where one of my mentors yelled at me and was very rude about my autism/CPTSD/ADHD. I had to file a grievance and work through it.
The big difference is though that I was able to make up with my lab group and work through these feelings of feeling like a victim, that everyone hates me, etc. I worked with my supervisor, the disability team and uni and we found ways to improve communication and I feel safe and happy in the group. I also don't feel like everyone secretly hates me and things are much better.
Is it normal to have similar behaviours like this to your Nparent, but then work through them? I feel like this was a life long pattern that I was able to unpack. It was because of my lab group/uni's genuine kindness that I was able to grow from this. I'm glad I did because in the future I am going to a grad job and I don't think this will be an issue there! I think I'll be able to communicate with my team and resolve conflict better.
However I still feel really guilty and keep thinking "maybe I'm a narcissist?" and also "sometimes you have learned behaviours from your narcissist parent, but you've also tried really hard to become a better person." This guilty cycle is really hard to sit with. Anyone else got experience? I guess like many of us, it is so hard to validate myself and I guess that's why I'm here looking for validation for these

The protest, labelled βCancel Facebookβ, is scheduled for 4pm at 10 Brock Street, NW1 3FG. The event will feature samba music, street performers, and a variety of speakers including former Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer John McDonnell, ADCU General Secretary James Farrar, and Glenroy Watson of the RMTs Black Solidarity Committee's Secretary.
The cleaners have been campaigning since June about increased workloads which are making them exhausted and ill. Their employer, Churchill Cleaning, which took over the Facebook contract in January, has added eight extra floors to the six that used to make up the cleaners' schedule. Churchill has failed to provide any extra resources to meet the increased workload.
Facebook itself has consistently refused to intervene on behalf of its cleaners. The Cleaners and Allied Independent Workers Union, has approached the company on multiple occasions, but it has consistently refused to get involved beyond vague expressions of concern about the wellbeing of its service providers and its intent to foster a respectful and safe working environment. Beyond that, it simply repeats the mantra that these are matters for Churchill and for its facilities management contractor JLL. Despite repeated enquiries from CAIWU, Facebook has declined to comment on the cleanersβ request to be brought in house.
In the absence of any positive progress, the prospect of industrial action grows increasingly likely. CAIWU has already served Churchill with notice of its members' intention to vote about the possibility of strike action, and Christmas Eve has been identified as a probable date for the first of what is likely to be a series of one-day strikes. CAIWU organiser Bruce Coker says that striking is very much a last resort, but that the cleaners feel they've been left with no other choice. βThe campaign has been going on for months now,' said Coker. 'Our members are getting ill from overwork, but Churchill refuses to acknowledge that there's a problem. The cleaners have reached the point where going on strike seems like the only way to make Churchill, JLL

Is there anything we can do to draw attention to this harassment targeted at these people who are unfairly labelled creepy and cringe?
Ok I don't feel comfortable posting this on a main Kpop sub so I'm hoping posting here will still get decent exposure and interaction with Atinys who regularly post.
Let me start by saying it is totally in your right to post what you want, especially when it comes to seeing hate thrown at your group and feeling the need to rant. I think it's a rather unfortunate situation where the fandoms that seems to be the first in our mind when it comes to potentially distributing this hate have fairly large fanbases on Reddit + are pretty reactive against any form of criticism about their fandoms. That isn't a slight against their fandoms but rather a fact. So with that, any post that even mentions their fandoms will invite people questioning the validity of the hate or questioning whether Atinys are over-reacting.
This obviously makes me uncomfortable but it's also concerning because people are starting to call Atinys hostile for simply explaining their stance. I worry that this is not the exposure that people want to ATEEZ and it realistically does nothing for the people on this sub to be availed to the issues we're highlighting. It's terrible because people get hung up on other issues rather than the meat of the issue. So I guess my question is, is there a way we could redirect some of that public frustration onto these subs at times? It's not fair and I know that but I also don't want serious issues being shot down because people view it in the same vein as the other posts.
The issue is the context atm. In the wake of this post I was worried it would be used as a defence or ig a way to shoot down genuine rants and it's already begun. I kind of dislike the premise of the post for other reasons but on surface it is a valid post so people do see weight in that.
It does get frustrating when the original post may not include a fandom but then a comment does and the whole point of the thread shifts. So even if you don't mention the fandom people will perceive it as "just adding to the noise".
Again I totally know it's not fair. It's ridiculous. But I also realise a lot of other fandoms express their frustration or anger about how their groups are treated on their groups sub. I think it would be a valid way to decrease the traffic of Atiny rants on public subs. But again, totally unfair.
On the point of victimisation, they are from a small company. People questio

Being a teenager and going through normal life and being innocent and a "clean" slate sotospeak, was just great, being 6 years older now, it feels like I wasted a lot of time and gone the wrong way.
