Megaloceros giganteus (& Turdus merula) in Eemian Jutland. The newest finds from Denmark are from ~12000 years ago, but apparently it survived well into the Holocene in the Urals.

Verbum Diei, die Martis, A D XIV KAL JUN, anni AUC MMDCCLXXIV: turdus
Verbum diei hodie est:
turdus, turdi: a thrush, a fieldfare, a type of bird
2nd declension masculine
Inter aves turdus*, si quid me iudice certum est,*
Inter quadripedes mattea prima lepus.
If my opinion is of any worth, the thrush is the greatest delicacy among birds,
the hare among quadrupeds.

A blackbird (Turdus merula) nest in a pot on my terrace
The last saturday we have found what seems to be a bird nest in one of our plant pots.On sunday we keep watching until we have found the guilty bird: Turdus Merula, or as we call in my country (Spain): a Mirlo. The time passes and the bird have keep working building the nest. Everything was looking good except the bird was only present on daylight, no presence found at all on night. But I thought it may be OK as there were no eggs.
My main question/problem comes that, yesterday (Tuesday) the bird left an egg (a bluish/greenish egg, didn't touch so not pretty sure actually). He/she whas the whole day on it but disappeared on the night.
Now it is wednesday 12:30 pm, and there is no clue about the bird. I don't know how normal is this or even i should worry about that egg and/or the bird/nest.
Any ideas or comments?
Thank you reddit!!
The bird on Tuesday
EDIT!!
12:35 pm -- The bird have return... is this the power of reddit!?
