A list of puns related to "Trombonist"
your* input
I'm trying to see if students identifying with certain "primary instruments" (including voice) are more likely to succeed in theory courses than others (and if not, what it is about the course content that holds you back/ gave you trouble, if any.) I'm hoping the results can be used in the future to help musicians get through their degree programs more easily without being held back 'cuz they can't pass theory. I don't have enough input from trombone students though, and I want to make sure y'all get fair representation.
If you've taken TWO (or more) college-level theory/harmony courses before, I could really use your input!
(A music fundamentals/remedial theory course cannot count as one of those 2 courses, sorry.)
The survey takes less than 5 mins!
Pretty please? It's for my first graduate research paper. ππββοΈ https://sdsu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3VILmMdsaEnBgcC
Please and thank you! Have a great day, y'all!
She was amazing, really stole the show.
Edit: checked my playbill, her name is Audrey Ochoa and she also plays glockenspiel at some point
As trumpet players, we have 3 values, and change pitch by using fingering, and in the case of notes with the same fingering, tonguing.

Trumpets only have a slide for tuning, while trombonists have to shift their massive slide just to hit a note!

So my girlfriend and I are both in marching band, she plays the trombone. Recently Iβve been looking for a good cute pet name thatβs related to her instrument, I felt that asking you wholesome lot would lead to some cute and fun pet names. So if yβall have any ideas lmk
I am already well versed in most things musical. I play the trombone, which has a slide, so I have a better than average ear for pitch. Do you think this would translate well into the world of violin?
I have some experience with guitar, I can play all the chords, but other than that I have no experience with string instruments.
I natively read music in bass clef, C, and I can read the other staves at an elementary level. This is what I am most worried about.
Any comments are appreciated
Iβm a 25 y/o freelance musician (classical and jazz mainly) looking to get out of my bubble and move!
What are some North American cities and regions (besides NYC and Cali) you all could recommend to a freelancer?
I would just like to ask if theres anything I need to know, Id love to learn bassoon because they sound amazing.
I know brass to woodwind can be hard but I wanna make the switch for concert season of my junior year.
I really think this song is super underrated so I did a cover of it :)
Hey y'all!
I'm a smaller creator on YouTube by the name of The Anime Trombonist! As the name suggests, I do covers of anime music for trombone choir! My channel just recently passed 300 subs, and I've been doing it for a little over a year now. It would mean a lot if you could check out some covers and leave a like or sub if you enjoy it :)
I grew up listening to Rosolino, Green, Johnson and Fontana in the 60s. As a teen in the 70s, the "new kid" that every bone player I knew was into was Watrous. As a senior citizen now (who still plays) I'm wondering who the 20 something crowd of trombonist are into. Who are the young up and coming stars of tomorrow I should check out?
