A list of puns related to "The Yale Record"
Overall acceptance rate will drop below 6% for the first time ever.
Yale overenrolled (higher yield than expected) for both '21 and '22, so '23 will get squeezed. Yale SCEA '23 already got squeezed (13.2% acceptance rate, lowest among all the Ivies).

I thought I'd contribute to this series again.
Yale v. Wesleyan Wesleyan. October 17, 1884.
Yale Halfback Willis Terry runs the ball from the LOS for a record 110 yards. Yale wins 63 - 0. Yale holds the series over Wesleyan at 46 - 0
##3 Things to keep in mind
The game was still in its primordial soup days and the field of play was bigger than it is today.
Before 1888 tackling below the waist was illegal, so the play was naturally spread out all over the field. It was considered easy to break away from a high tackle in the open, and a simple stiff arm from a runner made stopping the run much harder.
The open game became obsolete only after the tackling rules changed.

In my column, which Iβve written since 2002, I follow the path of patients who sought and found the diagnoses that often changed their lives. My column focuses on patients who have already found an answer. Last year, I embarked on a new adventure: Bringing my passion to understand the process of diagnosis to a documentary series for Netflix β with Times readers at the center. This time my focus was on patients still searching for a diagnosis.
It worked like this: I introduced a series of patients with symptoms, but no answers, to my readers. I shared detailed accounts of each patientβs illness, as well as key components of their medical records. Then we asked readers to tell us what they thought might be the cause.
Hundreds and sometimes thousands of readers from all over the world responded. Many of their suggestions were used in the documentaries. There are seven episodes, featuring eight patients.
Iβve been practicing medicine for nearly 20 years.

EDIT, 1:49 pm: Thanks, yβall, for joining me today. And thank you for posing all these great questions. I'm signing off for now but I'll try to check back in later if I can. Lisa
Your average college kid at North Dakota state will repeat whatever he is told. If you told him to believe that marriage between a mule and a crocodile should be blessed as a sacrament, he would agree as long as he got a good grade. Leftists use grades as a form of pain compliance like all deviants do.
It is Harvard, Yale and probably Berkeley where the real mental hiv is fabricated. They cascade the mind rot on down the hierarchy of this society.
All gender studies and other talentless Marxist departments should be immediately defunded.
I know I'm not the only one who has read the "IN AT YALE!!!!!" posts and wonderedβwhere is the proof?
Yale maintains what they call a "law school" on campus, which is filled with lots of rooms and people walking in and out all day. But are they students? How would you know? Ask yourself: who do you know that goes to Yale Law? If you're like me, the only reports you read of admitted students are by those posting on here that they got in (typically by accounts that are suspiciously new).
Oh, so you've met "Yale Law" admissions officers at an event? Two words: paid actors. Yale charges an $85 application fee, and with thousands applying every year they have more than enough money to hire people to continue the charadeβwhile still turning a profit. What do they use this profit for? Pangolins. Lots and lots of pangolins.
Pangolins are an unusual animal found in Africa and Asia. Their scales are rumored to provide mystical and possibly supernatural properties to those who consume them. But their endangered status and an international trade ban means acquiring these scales is extremely difficult.
However, I have recently uncovered something big. Dean Ingber (who supposedly works "admissions" for "Yale Law") posted this tweet on May 2, 2019. Depicted in the image is a pizza from a Napoletana (Naples) pizza restaurant. How strange, then, that one of the biggest researchers of Pangolin anatomy is Virginia Naples, who published several academic articles about Pangolins back in the '80s. But that's not all. Note the date on the pizza box: 1925. The first record of a shipment of Pangolins from Java (Indonesian city) to China dates from 1925 (source).
I'm sure Yale's paid shills will invade the comments section calling all this a 'strange coincidence.' Ignore them. Remember Occam's razor: the simplest explanation is most likely the correct one. In this case, the simplest explanation is that "Yale Law" doesn't actually exist, and is instead a front for the illegal trade of Pangolins, possibly in connection with a pizza restaurant.
I urge you all to do what you can to protect the Pangolins and not to apply to Yale Law. Instead, aspire to attend one of the real best law schools: Harvard, Stanford, or Princeto

I didnβt get into Harvard so she ditched me lol
I used this sub a lot when I was applying. My sister listened to no one during her process lol (but she loves giving advice)
Edit: FYI my sister is sciency (think STEM) and Iβm humanities... May have made a difference
any insight would be appreciated because I'm feeling a tad bit iffy about coming
What aspects of Yale does New Haven dislike?
Should I be worried about this? Thereβs nothing about me online or on the application that would require me to explain myself I donβt think. I applied for English so maybe they want to go over my writing a bit more? I really donβt know and Iβm just nervous about what I have to face in 12 hours. Any information /advice is greatly appreciated.
Edit: he just emailed me and said to be prepared to call my best friend during the interview. What does this mean? Why? Iβm too stressed to add this on top of the extra questions! Aaaaaaaaaaaaa!
UPDATE (copied from a reply to a comment): I just got home and it was a very good interview! He said the dean of admissions had taken a special interest in me and heβs glad he got to speak with me. He assured that Iβd get his highest rating. That being said, he did mention that it would be a little bit of an uphill battle because Iβm not a perfect student (3.7 GPA, 33 ACT), but all in all it can be done! Iβm just really glad I didnβt try and kiss him π
