Looking for somewhere to buy Indian style stainless steel thali set and/or general tableware, or cookware? Haven’t been to Brixton in a long time but I think they used to have a store in the marketplace that sold these, but not sure if it will still be there so hesitant to make the journey before asking around.
Anyone seen this type of thing in London recently that isn’t ridiculously overpriced like I’ve seen in ‘fancy’ cooking shops?
Yesterday I went to osher ad and got actually scared by the prices of disposable stuff. I wonder if there's anyone here thinking they actually did it for the environment and not for milking people?💀 If they were to do it for the sake of the environment there would have been many options, not increasing the prices by 300x I wonder if people don't care enough or they are blind or could be we don't have a democracy after all lol.

I'm looking to have a custom serving bowl made for my mother for the holidays and I would love to support a local ceramicist/artisan.
However, I do have a specific colour palette in mind and haven't had much luck finding a local place with a serving bowl that matches.
Do y'all have any recommendations for ceramic shops/pottery stores/artists that would do this kind of custom work?
Do I want cute plates, silverware, and things to make food with because I'm recovering and want to enjoy and find my food cute and appealing, or because I want to make restriction meals look less depressing?
