A list of puns related to "Syrupy"
You know that song you like to dance to? What will it sound like if I make it too slow for dancing? Answer: Terrible.
You know that song with the great guitar riff? What will it sound like if I just replace the riff with basic piano chords? Answer: Terrible.
You know that song where the singer has an interesting, unusual voice and a rapper pops up in the middle? What will it sound like if I remove the rap and sing the entire thing really gently, with no dynamics and compress my voice to make it as bland as humanly possible... but I close my eyes the whole time I'm singing to show how emotional it is? Answer: Terrible.
With powdery, aquatic, freshy season coming into full swing I'm already missing the thick, heavy, ribbons of silky sweetness massaging my olfactory senses. What are some of your favorites? Pure havane and a Black Phantom clone are all I have right now but I'm wanting to get some more syrupy scents in my collection before fall hits.
I like New York Seltzer, Clearly Canadian, and Kirin Lemon.
Any thoughts about others like these? Carbonated, but a relatively light, like crispy feeling? And not of course the kind with no calories or only natural flavoring.
Appreciate any ideas!
I'm not the biggest fan of dry powdery scents. I like sweet scents that have a moist or almost wet "texture" I guess, that's the best way I could describe it. What is a note or something that points in that direction? "Syrupy" isn't a note or description that's is ever listed on fragrantica or perfumo.
New on the sub here, but had a couple quick questions about making vinegar that one of you guys might have more experience with. Iβve been planning on making a vinegar kind of in the same vein as balsamic (more viscous and a little sweet), but without aging for years or any of that.
From my understanding of the process, I would want to start with a syrup with enough sugar/L of water to make around 6-7% ABV, add brewers yeast and let it go to completion, pasteurize, then add vinegar mother and let the alcohol get converted into acetic acid.
My question is, if you only add enough sugar to get 6-7% ABV and let it go all the way, wouldnβt you end up with a really dry alcohol that would end up as a vinegar thatβs not sweet at all? Would I want to start with a syrup with more than enough sugar to reach that much ABV and stop it before it gets too dry then?
Thanks so much for the help! Iβll be sure to post what I end up doing when I get started.
As the title says, it was a delicious circular hard candy that kinda had a syrupy sweet plum-y flavor and a pink/rose color.
Back in the late 90's early 00's I could find a packet or two of these at a time at the local Asian (Vietnamese) supermarket in Orange County, California. But now I don't know. Is it likely discontinued?
Iβm trying to set up both a nursery tank and a 50gal, but the filters in both keep getting clogged without any fish in their tank. When I pull out the filters theyβre coated in this tan syrupy stuff that Iβm unsure how to remove. My Betta tank filter has started clogging as well and Iβm worried it could be harmful.
Water changes do not help, and changing the filters just leads to new filters being clogged in under 2 days. It leads to me having to seat the filters slightly out of the housing in order to let a bit of bypass through.
My water parameters are; Ammonia: 0ppm. Nitrites: 0ppm. Nitrates: negligible.
I have a 10 gallon tank thatβs healthy and running fine with plenty of fish, and the Molly Fry I was hoping to move to the nursery are also in the 10gal.
The only thing I could guess is that the gravel I used in the nursery, Betta, and 50gal is all the same. But I washed all of it before putting into the tanks. The gravel fizzed up a bit more during washing than Iβm used to but I didnβt think anything of it.
Here is a video where you can see the syrupy substance floating in the water, and some of the film (sludge?) forming on the glass. I also included pictures of the filters so you can see the stuff Iβm talking about.

Iβm currently reading this completely hetro book, and the quote Iβm about to share from it is said by a male demon, but I think youβll all like it β€οΈπ€ͺ
βThe souls of women are more exquisite than the souls of men. Like the best wine youβve ever tasted. Or for you, my underage friend, maybe melted chocolate. The best melted chocolate youβve ever had, warm and thick and so unbelievably sweet as it slides slowly down inside you, filling you with syrupy hot delicious goodnessβ¦β
i focus on the sweeter side of life. all iβve ever really wanted is a sweet and kind person to be around that genuinely shares my interests and goals. i value care and nurture above all else and want a man who will provide me with that.
this isnβt my first rodeo, iβve been around the ghosts of this subreddit a time or two. so if youβre just looking to get your rocks off or to be fake and disappear, iβm not the person for you. letβs just save some time. but i can promise that if we do chat, youβll get to know someone kind, accepting, funny, adorable and interesting.
i just really want a buddy to chat with during the day, share interests, get close to maybe. idk, the world is currently a little boring and i miss having someone to spam selfies to.

My Momma used to make these delicious syrupy biscuits and all I remember is she put the dough in a muffin pan and made up the syrup with brown sugar and maybe cinnamon and pure cane syrup? We lived in East Texas, and Iβm hoping someone has this recipe, and I can make these treats for my family. TIAπ
I don't really see myself having it again. If it's $2.59 and tastes like Coke, might as well just get a 12-pack of Cokes and drink multiple over time for the same amount of caffeine but more drinking to enjoy. If I really need a huge boost of caffeine, I ain't messing around with this kinda stuff anyways...I'd just have coffee or something.
Now I kinda dread trying the Mountain Dew energy drink I also got, in case it just tastes like regular soft drink too.
I am a fan of most stouts but I am not a huge fan of a few of the popular ones (Prairie Bomb, Pipeworks, etc.) because they seem to have this same boozy and syrupy taste. I know the issue is not purely due to the ABV since I have enjoyed other high ABV stouts (To Γl Jule Maelk, Begyle BA Pajamas, Epic Triple Barrel Big Bad Baptist, Founders KBS, etc.). Iβm curious to know which underlying process/ingredient/taste I donβt seem to be a fan of.
Someone's probably made this point before, but "where we go one, we go all" -- aren't they just calling themselves sheep? So all the times they call mask-wearers, Democrat voters, libs & progressives 'sheep' it was all projection? I'm stunned. STUNNED.
Who knew Qultists greatest weapon was projection?
Every time I press this currylato flower it spits out a super syrupy hard to collect rosin (It's good, really terpy, just nearly impossible even with freezing to remove from the parchment), is there a way that I can alter this through pressure or temp so that the consistency will be easier to collect ?
I am currently pressing at 200Β° and 5-8 tons (depending on amount I have in the bag).
So I do love a good stinky, petrichor ripe, but sometimes I'm also in the mood for some what I call "dessert" shou--sweer, Syrupy, maybe notes of cinnamon, maple, red fruit, etc.
I would love to hear some recommendations for your favorite shus like that. Any vendor is welcome although I am about to make a white2tea order so bonus points if it comes from there (their small batch shous are insane).
