A list of puns related to "Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen"

Iβve never really known nor cared much about this particular Olsen (nor did I know that there was even more than one). Heβs always just been that orange haired photographer that followed Superman around, just a side character to make everyday Metropolis a little more interesting. You can imagine my surprise when this twelve issue βmaxiseriesβ (I see what they did there) showed up on a list of the very best comics of 2020. And it was by Matt Fraction, the guy behind that run of Hawkeye that I read and loved as a kid but canβt actually remember all too well (plan on revisiting sometime soon). Of course I gave it a try.
And Iβm glad that I did.
This isnβt one of those comics that makes it on to the greatest graphic novels of all time list. It isnβt something with an excellent story or thought provoking dilemmas or characters that you come to care about as if they were flesh and blood. You know what it actually is? It is ridiculously, hilariously, entertainingly fun, nicely packaged and delivered through Lieberβs drawings, Fairbairnβs colors and Fractionβs storytelling. And it managed to turn Jimmy Olsen into something more than just that guy from the Daily Planet; it showed him as a trouble-making nuisance that cares deeply for the people he works with, an actually pretty badass guy who can prank the Batman (and oh did I enjoy the scenes he was in), and a guy who Superman trusts and comes to to have fun. This was a good comic, and I recommend it to those looking to have a good time.
Side note: What in the world is going on with Metropolis. Why is a literal dinosaur the mayor XD
