A list of puns related to "Stumbler"
If you happen to come across an ad on YouTube for the app "Stumbler" it's literally women wearing revealing clothing, and before they take them off, the screen cuts to another woman doing the same, and then the ad ends. The internet is full of non-functional members of society, like the people who entice young children to download a cheap app via pornographic ads. These people could not care less who the audience is, and will bypass a website's basic filtering just to make money off of advertising. It is entirely disgusting that these people online are allowed to do such things infront of a young audience.
What noise(s) do they make? Seems pretty neat, but I'm extremely sensitive to recourring sounds.
I have contributed with Mozilla Stumbler before but I stopped doing it for a while. When I try to send my observations from the Stumbler it crashes. How do I know if the sending was successful?

Really? The stumblers? Cmon man.
On Nightly Android I noticed that it started a service called "Firefox Stumbler" and kept running on the background for as long as the system was up. This can't be good for the battery life so I terminated it. Is it possible to disable it altogether? I still don't understand what Stumbler is and what it does, to be honest.
It shut itself down after opening and closing Nightly. Then appeared again after rebooting the phone.
will the app work in background or do I need to keep it open all the time? I disabled battery optimization for the app but it still doesn't seem to work while in background and the phone is in stand-by.
I would appreciate it if someone would shed some light on what is going on, and why is this service eating my battery in the background despite disabling Mozilla Location Service.

I just re-installed tor after accidentally deleting it and all my bookmarks for those types of sites including a reddit post with a bunch of links that I can not now find. Anyone willing to give a link to the a reddit post similar to what I am talking about or just a link one of the types of sites I am trying to find again?
I cant go cold turkey. I tried. I failed. Im a stumbler. But thank all stumblers who try again. Your stories are what keep me trying. I want to break the cycle,~ and try~i don't know you and you dont know me,but wow you have helped me a lot without knowing it. Thank You
Hi, when poking around I noticed that the stumbler service was running along with Waterfox. From what I understand this collects Geolocation data.
I think another user pointed out that there's not only this service but another service named telemetry. I disabled them both using this app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.wq.disableservice) but I don't think they should be there in the first place. I know you've said that the code doesn't exist to send telemetry but maybe a bit like the issues we were encountering on the desktop these rouge services are still around, taking up ram with no way to communicate back.
I see Android hasn't been updated yet, would you consider fixing this in the next release? Interestingly enough I never saw the offending telemetry/e10 etc addons being pushed to the android version, only desktop, so perhaps that's why the update didn't go out? Maybe the next version could disable these services though as a similar fix for that platform.
