I know this is almost blasphemous since the episode - visions - destiny - infinite run of Stratovarius is not only amazing but genre defining, but for me personally, I find myself listening to Elysium - Nemesis - Eternal wayyyy more. I think Matias is a beast of both a player and songwriter, and far less repetitive than Tolkki was back in the day.

Like Sonata Arctica, but this time with Stratovarius, tell me what your first song was and your story behind finding it. The first song I heard was Legions. So I wanted to go and listen to music, I wanted to put on Thunderstone but then something else catches my eye, and that was Stratovarius Visions. So I then went and asked my parents about it (cause they had bought the album on Windows Media Player if anyone remembers that) and they told me about it and they played the first song or the one that they liked and that was Legions. And then later on it was Coming Home and then they just played the whole album for me haha. But, I'll never forget that day for as long as I live.

Have been on a fucking busy schedule, still not willing to skip the weekly cover, loving it more and more, having it as a part of my life.
Again one of the easier stratovarius songs, but Jari still kills it with the details like the usual bass fills and the killer tone on this one, a bass heavy power metal song, thats very very rare.
Plus this is a fucking romantic power metal monster, the lyrics just kills and the grungy power metal at the finest

This song is one of my personal favourites. A motivational one, the title states it all. Always keeps you from falling, damn underrated shit. Was thinking to add vocals as well but the lack of practice due to jam packed schedule did not help a bit.
Jari is hard to cover on bass, the way he shreds, just overwhelming, I admit that this is an easy one. But surely will try to cover more of him, will help me improve a lot.
