A list of puns related to "Timo Kotipelto"
For me, vocalists are the make or break for bands. If I donβt like the vocalist, itβs an automatic rejection, I wonβt listen to your music. There are generally four areas that I consider when listening to a vocalist when determining if I like them or not:
Range: the span of notes that are sung and how well they are sung
Accuracy: the pitch of the notes in relation to the key signature, intervals etc
Tone: the quality or color of the voice itself, consistency when singing different ranges
Expression: conveying of emotion and the meaning of the lyrics, pronunciation and technique
RATE Timo Kotipelto
16/40
Range: 5/10
In Cainβs Offering the vocal is more suited for Timoβs voice, the range lower in general and not straining his voice with too many high notes. In Stratovarius someone clearly didnβt realize that just because you can force yourself to sing high doesnβt mean that you should.
Accuracy: 5/10
In Cainβs Offering Timo is pretty accurate, occasionally sliding into notes, and falling short of high notes. In Stratovarius he is less accurate with messy intervals and the high notes are shrill and unpleasant.
Tone: 2/10
Iβm not a fan of Timoβs voice. Itβs very nasally sounding, especially if heβs singing high. How the man managed to become a professional singer, let alone a well liked one, boggles my mind. His performance in Cainβs Offering is the only thing that kept me from giving him a 1.
Expression: 4/10
Timoβs delivery is often times choppy and doesnβt connect with me emotionally. There is little variety in texture or even volume. The only example of vocal expression worth noting is in Cainβs Offering βMorpheus in a Masqueradeβ 3:24 his vocal offers a rare emotional delivery that I enjoy, singing in his lower range.
Favorite songs
I like βOceans of Regretβ by Cain's Offering for the songwriting, and Timo does better than his average performance. Thatβs about all the complementing he gets.
βUnbreakableβ by Stratovarius has a catchy melody and guitar riffs. Timo is Timo. He does a good job for Timo. The vocal line doesnβt go too high, which is good for Timoβs voice.
For Shits and Giggles
Take a listen to Kotipeltoβs solo work βReasonsβ. Itβs painfully off pitch throughout the song. The fi
... keep reading on reddit β‘Notice I said βgreat singers.β I like a lot of work by both guys, but I donβt believe they live up to the hype. Fabio especially. Some of the Rhapsody stuff is just painful.
Me it would have to be Timo Kotipelto singer from Stratovarius
A vocal cover was due for a long time, here it is. Chose one of my favourite singer, Timo Kotipelto. Stratovarius songs are too damn damn and godly, I will be honest, chose an easy one. Plus combining Jaris basslines with Timos singing is impossible.
Damn great song, another motivational one and they sound the best when Timo sings it.
The first stanza has bass in the song, for the remaining part I tried to provide the piano bass notes using my bass, so yes, it was improvised. Hope you enjoy it.

Do you ever have difficulties sleeping at night? Me too. How could anyone sleep knowing that no one has established the best Stratovarius song starting with each letter of the alphabet?
Worry not, I have finally solved this age-old question that has been on everyone's lips. Here are the results below. If you want to follow along and make your own choices, here is the alphabetized song list.
0-9: 4th Reich (Dreamspace)
There are only three songs starting with numbers: 4th Reich
, 4000 Rainy Nights
and 030366
. In case you are wondering, A Million Light Years Away
counts as an A song. The other two are decent but 4th Reich
is by far the most enjoyable song of these three.
A: Against the Wind (Fourth Dimension)
There are 9 songs to choose from here, spanning all the way from 1994 to 2013. There's a few of the weaker Elements songs, some random interludes and Abyss
which I completely forgot existed. The more serious contenders are Anthem of the World
, Abandon
, Against the Wind
and A Million Light Years Away
. Anthem of the World
overstays its welcome a bit, and A Million Light Years Away
sounds a bit derivative.
B: Black Diamond (Visions)
No one will take this list seriously if I choose anything other than Black Diamond
, but Blind
(Polaris) is also an excellent song not to miss!
C: Chasing Shadows (Dreamspace)
Not a very contested letter. Castles in the Air
is a ok midtempo song with great solos, Castaway
came out 20 years too late, Celestial Dream
is a pretty good ballad but not a playlist staple. The real candidates are the epic Coming Home
ballad from Visions, the surprisingly catchy Cold Winter Nights
bonus track from Destiny, and the Dreamspace opener Chasing Shadows
.
D: Dragons (Nemesis)
This is a nightmare to choose from, and there are very heavy hitters from all eras of the band. Distant Skies
is my favourite song from Fourth Dimension, Destiny
is the song that made me fall in love with this band 20 years ago, Dragons
is one of the catchiest songs from modern Stratovarius. I forgot Darkest Hours
(Elysium) existed but it's also very good. I won't list the other few D songs but they're also pretty good. Despite my soft
So military service is compulsory in Finland and I have read about other Finnish singers (Ville Valo, Timo Kotipelto) serving in the Finnish Army for a brief period. CoB said they recorded their first album at 17. Did none of the CoB guys have to join the Finnish Army?
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
Buenosdillas
Theyβre on standbi
Pilot on me!!
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
When I got home, they were still there.
What did 0 say to 8 ?
" Nice Belt "
So What did 3 say to 8 ?
" Hey, you two stop making out "
I won't be doing that today!
