A list of puns related to "States Of Matter"
Edit: ON land. And a plasma duck would be cool, but sadly it doesn't exist

I have spent many years working in a technical capacity, back in the 1980's I worked in a metals laboratory, performing wet analysis and AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy. It became apparent to me that the element known as "Carbon" does not exist as we are told, it is just a state of matter and a model used by mainstream science to underpin a false system. Rolling forward to today I am still discovering major flaws and inconsistencies with most the stories and experiments we are given in text books to explain the nature of reality (for reference https://tngbreakingreality.com/the-carbon-deception), yet still nobody seems to see that "Carbon" is in fact a hoax. All you will ever find are allotropes of carbon (supposed carbon in a different chemical structure which is not carbon the element, total mind games) you will never find a physical pure piece of the element known as carbon.
It was both shocking and illuminating that immediately after the defense's latest filing, a number of people came here to opine that the defense was definitely lying about receiving the small report and not the large one. Why?
On one side of the ledger we have the defense filing two sworn affadavits as well as showing a quote from an older court filing before the controversy began saying they received the smaller report. Additionally, this was an issue the defense was unlikely to lose on regardless, making it unlikely they'd commit a conspiracy to defraud the court for little gain. On the other side of the ledger, we have only the unsworn word of the same people who illegally destroyed the evidence and lied about it. Just looking at the evidence on either side, it's impossible to say this is a slam dunk for the state. But that's somehow the conclusion people reached. Again, I ask why?
This conclusion is even harder to understand in the broader context of the case, where the state has consistently used deception dating back to the very beginning.
When the case was first moved to a different jurisdiction due to an apparent conflict of interest, the head of the new jurisdiction gave the public misleading statements regarding the prior jurisdiction's role in the case.
The head of an independent government agency was blocked from the crime scene and threatened with illegal arrest despite a statutory duty to attend the crime scene.
Prior to the case the prosecutor gave a press conference filled with graphic details of a rape and murder, despite the state being unable to produce any evidence of these details at trial.
The state withheld an expert report on a potential suspect's hard drive, preferring to hand over only raw data unreadable by a layman and a police officer's summary of the report. Furthermore, the prosecutor misidentified the report to the defense and told them it had little value, when in fact it could have been the crucial missing piece to their defense.
Then of course there's the bones, originally labeled as human, argued as not human at trial, then declared human again to destroy them, then declared not human again to avoid consequences for breaking the law for destroying them.
The state then proceeded a number of times over several years to assure the defense the evidence they destroyed was available for testing.
There are many numerous smaller examples of deceit; too many to count. However, I wanted to stick with the major
... keep reading on reddit β‘The way I was taught states of matter was when a molecule gains enough kinetic energy it jumps into the next state of matter, but this seems counterintuitive considering that if this were true everything would change state slowly, and instead of phases of matter there would be a sort of transition between each state of matter. Why doesnβt matter change state like this?
Iβve been on this sub for a little while now and just in general Iβve seen the main issue guys share with struggling beards is not keeping them neat! Letting it grow all over your neck, over your lip, far up your cheek will all make it look bad and thatβs not including if you donβt put any oils in it.
If your beard is struggling or even if itβs full hereβs the main things you need to make sure it looks great and grows properly.
Go to a barber or buy some clippers and get your beard lined up once a week. I recommend learning it yourself because itβs much easier. This is important because even if itβs patchy a messy beard always looks worse than one thatβs shaped up nicely.
Donβt let your mustache grow over your lip. Not only is it gross but it looks unkept even if the rest of your beard is nice. Make sure itβs lined up evenly with your lip.
Brush, Comb and Moisturize. Once itβs long enough make sure you apply conditioner in the shower daily and shampoo only once a week. When itβs short just brush, apply a small amount of coconut oil to it and massage then brush again daily.
Make sure you keep your beard hairs fairly even, you donβt want the hairs sticking out the side of your face like chia pet hair. This is easily done yourself when itβs long by combing it and just trimming the stray hairs. When itβs short take a #1 Guard, adjust the blades as you see fit to determine how dark you want it.
Workout, Eat healthy, get plenty of rest and take multivitamins including biotin. Add essential fats like Omega 3 into your diet as well. Minimize stress in your life whether it be a hobby or a person you can vent to. Stress ruins a lot of things including beard growth.
Workout, no seriously workout, it boosts your testosterone which can help your beard growth and in turn youβll look great and feel great.
Edit: Explanation for my first point.
To capitalists: Why do you think planned economies necessarily lead to political freedoms being curbed? Do you think, economic efficiency aside, that a planned economy with free speech, democracy and human rights can exist? How does the existence of private ownership over production prevent governments from acting authoritarian? Especially considering that private property existed under Fascism. If not private property, is it the existence of less restricted markets that prevent such authoritarianism? In that case see next paragraph
To capitalists and left anarchists also: What about a relatively free market socialist economy (one where worker co-ops replace private ownership), in which the state still exists? Do you think that in such an economy the state would still be just as ruthless?
As an anarchist myself, I don't see why a socialist state necessarily entails less political freedoms than capitalist states. Every successful socialist revolution post October 1917 adopted a form of the Leninist model, which itself is quite authoritarian in theory compared to other socialist theories. I believe that most other socialist systems when applied would not have suppressed political freedoms at all, considering that they champion democracy and oppose the concept of a vanguard party.
Therefore, it is my view that the totalitarian police states we've seen throughout history should be a surprise to no one as they set out to do what their theory demanded. Had the Socialist Revolutionary party in Russia been democratically elected as they were supposed to and Lenin never succeeded in his coup d'etat, we would have seen what democratic socialism may have looked like.
To put it bluntly, my view is that economic freedom and/or private property has much less of an impact on political freedom than most people make out. I'm open to alternative views.
This question is hard to quantify, but I will try my best.
I'm looking for a real mathematical formula that can be used to determine the temperatures that any given element need to be in to be in each of the four states of matter (Solid, liquid, gas, and plasma).
For example, I want to know at what temperature water (not an element, I know) turns into a solid from a liquid in degrees of Celsius, I already know this, but I want to do that using a math formula, and that I do not know. Further from that, I'd like to use that formula to discover what temperature that would turn from water to steam, and even further, what point it becomes plasma.
I've been trying to look for this formula online, but that has proved fruitless, and it may be a sad fact that it doesn't exist, but I'm willing to hold out and hope it's a real thing, and that you at Ask Science know of it.

In the mornings itβs so hard to get out of bed, but finally when I do things get a bit easier from them. My mom and brother put me in a good mood and everything is going okay. I laugh in my head about my thoughts of committing suicide. Everything is going well. I start looking forward to the future and I just feel good. But then the night comes. All my anxiety comes back: Worries, nervousness, mistakes I made, βwhat ifsβ. And before I know it, iβve fallen down a hole of depression. I find myself thinking of suicide and how itβs not worth it. I feel guilty cause I know I have people who love me. But I feel so hurt. I feel horrible that iβll be paining them, but I would do ANYTHING to let go of all the pain I feel. This is my day to day life :(
TL;DR: You can sign this petition to fight against rule changes including zoning due to the recent media attention to the 'state of the game'.
We have a lot of unhappy fans here at r/AFL about the recent media attention regarding the 'state of the game'. I think its great this is being discussed as it really can shape the future of our game. Therefore, I have created a change.org petition for hopefully more recognition on the matter.
I've shared it here because I know a lot of us want to fight for the game, and seeing rule changes such as zoning affects the game in a big, BIG way. We don't want this!
I'm aware I might cop a bit of flack for this, but I hope I'm doing the right thing doing it.
I ask you to please consider reading and signing this if you agree, and share if this is something you're passionate about.
Thank you.

EDIT: Credit to u/AlmostWrongSometimes for editing the original details and explaination of the petition. Really appreciate it mate!
EDIT 2: Over 1000. Good effort gang!
The wax a solid when you get it. The wax melts when burn it making it a liquid. The wax evaporates due to the flame making it a gas.
