A list of puns related to "Sharp Point"
1200 UTC Sounding Question:
What causes this temperature inversion and sharp drop in dew point (at 300 MB)?
The sounding that I am looking at can be found here: https://www.spc.noaa.gov/exper/soundings/21050712_OBS/GSO.gif
Here is the 300 mb map for the same time: https://www.spc.noaa.gov/obswx/maps/300_210507_12.gif
The time series for KGSO can be found here:

Does it have something to do with being underneath a trough? Does it have something to do with warm air advection at that same height? GSO is right in the middle of North Carolina there. This is not homework, I am just interested in why this is happening. I've never seen something like this before.
You guys have an awesome subreddit!
Iβm learning music theory, and I canβt figure out when would you use double flats and sharps. If I understand it right, a double sharp is just one whole step above, so why not just mark the line or space above?

Hi all, I realize this is a bit of a tall order, but I am looking to buy a reliable 35mm point and shoot with sharp optics. I currently have a Fuji X100F and a Nikon Teletouch 300 AF-- the latter of which is a meh camera, I mostly keep it around because it was a gift from my dad.
I love shooting film, but I find the Fuji (a relatively new buy) is making it harder and harder to reach for the subpar Nikon, so I'm looking to upgrade my 35mm experience. It seems like the Contax T2 is the obvious choice in this category, but I can't justify the price right now. Are there any alternatives this sub recommends? I'd like to have something with some (optional) degree of manual control (exposure compensation? :) ) and a super sharp lens. I'd like to keep it under $300 if possible.
PS-- I'm a first time poster here and hope I haven't broken any sub rules, but if I have, just let me know and I can edit the post. Thanks again!
My husband bought me a big starter kit from Amazon and it came with several needles. I really like the hole size and never have trouble threading them. I wanted a sharper needle, though, so I bought some DMC needles from the local Walmart (I live in a small rural city with no craft store). I love the sharpness but the eyes are so small I can't get more than 2 strands through. I broke one of my needle threaders trying. My husband ordered some more for me through Amazon but the needles are almost comically large; I don't even know what you'd use such a thick needle for. Am I going about this wrong? Should I be using a more blunt needle? I mostly stitch on cotton but I have a couple of canvas bags and towels I want to try stitching on soon, too.
