A list of puns related to "Segovia"

I've been listening to Segovia a lot lately and it leaves me with mixed feelings. Of course I recognize his virtuoso, I know his place in our history and I know what he means for classical guitar. But... I also hear him chop like a woodworker on quite a lot of pieces, his belligerence to apprentices, journalists and other interviewers. Hearing him go rubato on pieces that don't deserve that, and even going off on his apprentices for going rubato on the same pieces. But then after listening to current guitarists like Harb, Nguyen, Rhyzkova etc. I know that probably a lot of you will call me godless or whatever, but I get a lot more pleasure out of listening to the latter players. I feel like technically and musically, they bring a lot more to the table, and they've "just" started. I also know that those same people will call me out for being an idiot themselves. But they deserve to do that.
My question to you all is how you feel about this. How many of you prefer a Segovia recording to the ones of the current generation? How many of you don't and why?
(Maybe I'm just bored, but I'm on this train of thoughts for a couple of months now and I know there are far wiser musicians here than I am and I hope this will lead to a meaningful discussion.)
There's a well-known book branded by Andres Segovia of twenty Sor studies.
How does the collection of studies in that book relate to Sor's various study collection opuses?
(The internet says that the plural of "opus" is "opera". Who'd of thunk it.)
Hola a todos.
We will be visiting Spain next week and want to do 2 day trips to Segovia and Toledo respectively. We havent yet booked them because I'm waiting to kind of see where the weather settles more accurately (it's been a rollercoaster with rain projected in Madrid then sunny now back to rain nearly every day)
For Segovia I understand the train is fast but it drops you off kind of in the middle of nowhere. Is there a consistent bus from the station to the city center or should we just plan on the bus from Madrid to Segovia?
I noticed Toledo seems more of a straight shot with the train so that's a bit more simple.
Also as an aside, I'm coming from Florida where if theres rain in the forecast it can range from thunderstorms that come and go quickly to monsoon all day so I'm trying to understand the rain this type of year and what to expect. Is it rainy season currently? Is it typically the rain that lasts all day or is it like cloudy with occasional showers? Forgive me for the stupid question, sometimes checking weather forecasts abroad is difficult since so many sources vary wildly (Japan is probably the worst lol)
Thanks!
