Your case is currently delayed because the required security checks are still pending. We cannot schedule you for an interview until we receive the results of these security checks
Ombudsman answered 12/27/2021:
USCIS must receive a related file in order to resume processing your pending application/petition. USCIS is experiencing serious delays with file transfers due in part to measures taken to ensure employee safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, there is currently no estimated time frame for the required file transfer. Therefore, our office cannot give you any additional information about when your case will be adjudicated.
I already lost any hope, someone advised me to sue USCIS, but I don't have $5000 for that. Why some people who have applied 6 months ago already passed all those "Security Checks" and already naturalized, but my case is still pending because of "Delays with file transfers due COVID-19"?
Pretty interesting fact and i was wondering, can anyone here relate?? He said it was only like a 10 minute drive away but 3 hours with traffic lol. He said he was also the son of Egyptian immigrants so that may also be partly why he didn't know basic geography about his own backyard so to speak. Great monologue overall though. Funny dude. Serious too.
Does anyone have any recommended tint shops that theyβve been to? Iβm located between burbank and oxnard.
To whomever washed their car today, many thank yous.
I'll be visiting my in-laws in the south SF valley and need a new headset installed into an old frame. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic? (NoHo, Valley Village, Studio City or thereabouts)
Edit: thanks for the tips, everyone!
Hey all, I'll try to keep this as brief as possible. I'm really in need of support right now regarding medical care for transition - attn anyone in the Northridge area. Location is a necessary part of this post, I hope that's alright.
I've just moved to Northridge about 6 months ago and honestly was unprepared for the difficulty I would have since moving here. I've been on T just about six years, but I am unable to self-inject due to disability - I had a wonderful clinic in my hometown where I could go to get my injections.
Moving caused a lot of issues with my insurance which took about 2 months to fix - I have Medi-cal (California's version of Medicaid if you don't know) which limits providers I can see. The only options for trans healthcare I have been made aware of are: the Los Angeles LGBT Center, and St John's Hospital transgender health program. Both are in LA. The issue here is that I cannot drive. The LA LGBT Center is the closer option, but still about an hour round-trip driving, if traffic isn't horrendous... but again, I don't drive, and if I just can't make that trip every week or every two weeks for an injection.
So... I've been without my hormones for 6 months, have had 5 periods, have felt like absolute shit, am just kind of losing it if I spend too long thinking about my situation. I have been struggling to access care out here period - mental health, etc, but that's another story. I just thought by now I would have figured something out. I reached out to my school's LGBT center and basically they can't help me or give me any information I don't already have, lol.
There has got to be something closer to me that I just don't know about... right? So that's why I am posting. If anyone lives in the area or knows of anything - I am looking for trans healthcare for medi-cal patients in the San Fernando Valley, as close to Northridge as possible.
Thanks for your time.
Hello and I hope you're all having a great 2022 so far! If you have any upcoming gatherings or events I would love to add some fun and laughs with my caricatures. Give your guests something special to walk away with. It's sure to liven up your party as people look on while someone is being drawn. I draw fast! The caricatures take anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes. My rates are $100/hr. If you price shop around you'll see that not many other caricature artists in the area do it for cheaper. I am in the San Fernando Valley area but I am willing to go outside of the SFV. If you're looking for something fun enlist Cartoon Nuke for some side splitting caricatures!
Hello! I am a caricature artist. I have a company called Cartoon Nuke. I do birthday parties and other gatherings. The hourly rate includes color and black and white drawings. These caricatures are done FAST. They take about 5 minutes for black and white or 10 minutes for color. Yes $100/hr is cheap for a caricature artist. If you need someone to add some fun to your upcoming party I'd be happy to. You can look on as your loved ones are being drawn and laugh. Have your guests walk away with something to hang up on their wall and remember your event.
I had to take a detour going south on DeSoto and stumbled upon some horse riders in costumes.
hello friends and neighbors!
my birthday party is this weekend and before i order two cakes from Sweet Lady Jane and a bunch of cupcakes from Gelson's, i was wondering if any of you lovely people could point me towards other options?
fyi, i am getting two 6-inch round birthday cakes with decorations and about 60 cupcakes.
thank you in advance for all of your suggestions - super busy this week with party prep and normal life so your help is a real life-saver!
I am looking to place an order on a MachE. Vista ford and galpin ford are the closest to me. Anyone have any experience with them? Looking for a dealer that will honor MSRP and Xplan pricing. Any tips on how to get this in writing ? Is text/email sufficient, does it need to be signed?
There's been so many pop ups recently of burgers, especially the smash burger styles.
I want to compile a list so we can spread awareness to them and support local. (I'm currently eating a burger from a pop up as I write this)
My top 3: Yellow Paper Burgers (Double Cheeseburger) Lowboy's (Double Fresh Burger) District Pub in NoHo (Double Smash Burger)
I ran a Shadowrun 5e game on roll20 through 2 years of the pandemic and just wrapped up the campaign and am looking to start something new. I live in Granada Hills and could host or drive to meet somewhere within 30 minutes of me.
I've got a lot of experience GM'ing Shadowrun 5e and 6e and could run a new game in person. I've actually been 3d-printing and building modular cyberpunk terrain and would love an opportunity to use mini's for Shadowrun.
On the other hand I've also played Pathfinder 2.5e and have been playing D&D since 3.5e and would be happy to look at that, too. Though either of these systems I'd be more comfortable with being a player.
If you've got a group or would be interested in joining a new one, lets get talking!
