A list of puns related to "Romantic Film"
Was honestly thinking about this after watching Euphoria and seeing the actors who play Cassie and Nate look really smitten on the red carpet. Not saying they hooked up but just curious to know if any other major hookups have come from actors playing romantic interests in movies
I am currently trying to come up with a Hollywood-style erotic/romantic orchestral piece and I am very lost.
I am perfectly fine with pretty much any other emotion (heroism, horror, sadness, mysterious, otherworldly, etc...) but I can not come up with anything erotic. Is that even possible? I can't think of any existing orchestral piece conveying that particular emotion at all.
As a piano piece? - easy, pop song? - easy.
Is an epic orchestra simply unable to convey those emotions or am I missing something here?
These films give off the wrong ideas about relationships and often promote cheating. In many of these types of films you'll see a person with "the wrong one" and the right person was in front of them all along. I noticed this trend more and more in rom coms and children's films.
I j re watched and I can see why Ron and Hermione shippers were upset about it honestly
Not popularity based but the one you connected with or felt was his best.
In the Vampires episode, itβs discussed that Carpenter made the film as a reaction to the common trend of sexy, classy, and romantic (in both senses of the word) vampires in media. Which type do yβall prefer, and what are your favorite examples?
It always interesting to see what men find romantic especially in their taste of romance in movies. And by favourite romance, you could just state a character who had a love interest in any kind of movie.
Hello, I was hoping to get some recommendations for romantic/sultry neo-noir films. The genre can be action, drama, romance, etc. I mostly just want a film where there's elements like girls in sleek dresses, drinking, red lipstick, jazz, men in suits, and stuff of that nature. I hope that makes sense.
And just to reiterate, I know there's films like Chinatown from the 70s which I love but I would prefer some more modern films if possible (unless there's an older one that you think I would most definitely love).
I don't remember much about the movie, but I remember one scene accurately. In this scene, The female lead is talking with an oldman in a bus(or train) and she is sharing her anxieties of having sex with the boyfriend for the first time. She tells that this is going to be a first for her, but not a first for her boyfriend who already had other girlfriends. The oldman then tells her that he wonders if this is how his second wife felt during their first time also, but assures her that it is going to be special for the boy also. Any help is appreciated.
Bonjour Γ tous,
I asked many Hollywood fans, and they said, "It's universal! It's in every culture and film!" However, I wasn't so sure about that. For instance, I remember watching the Tintin film adaptation; even though made by Hollywood, Herge's stories were focused on adventures; hence the filmmakers followed that established model.
Likewise, even the Lord of the Rings book series created by an English author was more about adventure and warfare. However, the Hollywood version added Romance to appeal to female viewers. They added characters and gave more prominence to female characters.
Hollywood reductionism
I don't have anything against Romance. However, some stories don't merit a romantic subplot; there's no general point. Likewise, it seems that underneath many Hollywood movies have a " commercial formula" that most studios follow..
Maintenant, je commence à regarder Français films. J'ai un point de comparaison et je commence à voir Hollywood différemment.
I noticed it in for example: Drive (2011), Joker (2019) and The Dummy (2002).
Particularly looking for this combination of an outcast and single mom.
Anyone know of any others?
Release date: 2000-2020.
Genre: Romance. It's not a romantic comedy.
One of the protagonists is a guy who creates TV ads. He breaks up with his girlfriend and one day when he's walking his dog with a friend, he gets acquainted with the other protagonist, a girl who works as a bartender.
The guy is an amateur writer and the girl is an amateur painter. They enter into a relationship.
Later, while attending a costume party, the girl gets acquainted with another guy, a Spanish gallery owner.
The advertisement guy becomes jealous and that leads to the deterioration of their relationship. Later it turns out that the Spanish gallery owner is gay so his jealousy was unfounded.
The guy eventually publishes his book and the characters in it are based on the amateur painter girl. Some of the stories in the book are enacted within the movie.
The girl also used her partner as inspiration, the representations of evil or craziness on her pictures are based on the advertisement guy.
All this non-consensual artistic inspiration taking from both sides finally causes them to break up.
Then the girl moves to Spain I think. The guy finds a new love interest. No happy ending
My inspiration right now is currently a somewhat bass boosted, slowed and reverb edit of an Indonesian song called terlukis indah (linked for anyone interested).
I'm a great big fan of romantic indie/arthouse films and I want to be bombarded with love but realistic loveβstruggle, intense interest, souls that appear to be, for all intents and purposes, kindred and meant to be, love that shakes you to your core, sex and lovemaking that would make you weep (definitely suggest movies that have graphic sex and nudity scenes that gaspar noe would appreciate). I'd like this to be true to life. I've seen the before trilogy and quite a few other movies so just suggest what you feel fits and whether or not I've seen it is irrelevant, there's bound to be repeats.
I would strongly prefer a happy ending but I don't mind a good cry.
Thank you! Enjoy your night!
