A list of puns related to "Rich Moore"
A crass question I admit, but I am genuinely curious. Roger Moore lived the life of a very wealthy man, which I presume he was. But how? He didn't do many movies after Bond, and none that would make him huge money.
Surely he made good money as Bond, but he was not a producer or taking profits off the gross.
Being a stand in actor in the late 90s - early 00s was a gig that earned less than $2,000 a week and he said he hadnβt worked in 2 years, yet he could afford a new Mercedes and a high powered lawyer in California. No way in hell he could keep all that going with what he was making.
I am Rich Moore, Director of Wreck-It Ralph. You may know some of my previous work including The Simpsons, Futurama, and The Critic. AMA!

WARNING! Before you read further, this write-up will have UNMARKED SPOILERS for Wreck it Ralph and its sequel. Both movies are worth the time to watch, so if you haven't, I advise you to do so before reading. Then, by all means, join the discussion here.
So basically everyone here wants a Zootopia sequel, and I'm no exception. Wreck it Ralph however actually did get a sequel recently, and I figure it's been long enough that we should talk about it and weigh the goals of a sequel with what we might be willing to give up -or at least ignore- in the world of Zootopia. Why Wreck it Ralph is even partially relevant is because Rich Moore was at the helm of it, and of course he also co-directed Zootopia.
Now, Rich Moore is definitely loved here. He's the ship teaser, he's a goofy guy and seems full of joy and enthusiasm for his creations, so all of this isn't meant to knock him. I do think, however, that Wreck it Ralph 2 backpedaled on the message of the first movie and basically shooed off some its established lore just to promote its own message. Is that message good? Yes, I think so, but it comes at the price of some of the franchise's integrity, I feel. Let me set some backdrop.
Wreck it Ralph, message and lore
Wreck it Ralph had the disadvantage of having to explain all of its conventions and why we should care about the world, as well as what the stakes were. This was done both somewhat cleverly and not cleverly at all with various degrees of plausibility. For instance, the biggest stakes are, if you die outside the game, you die in real life, which makes game-hopping dangerous and causes Ralph's actions to seem more greedy and short-sighted.
Basically every element is introduced in some kind of "as you know" form, which King Candy almost directly quotes when explaining the roster race. How the guy constructed a whole metagame focused on earning and donating a currency otherwise not used in-game to fill out the roster? I guess I'll leave that alone.
But yeah, most elements of the movie and game world were made to increase the stakes of the movie. Glitched characters can't leave games? Uh, sure, okay. Makes Vanellope's plight more dangerous, but at the sole purpose of giving King Candy some plausibility for mistreating her. Else, the stipulation doesn't make much logical sense.
At the end of the day, though, what was really important was the message and character interactions. The message was something like: sometimes we can be frustrated w

It makes me think that since they did this sort of thing in the first wreck it Ralph and how they did it with the second one as well, that theyβll do it with the next Zootopia. What would set Nick and Judy apart though? Iβm thinking along the lines of what brown table did with one of which, Nick or Judy, will say that they canβt handle their relationship or something MAYBE and theyβll split up. Then theyβll have a reunion scene to make for a full fledged heart string pull moment....moments. What do you guys think? Rich Moore knows his stuff and knows what we want so do you think heβll do it?
Can someone explain to me why theyβre credited that way? Wouldnβt all three of them be co-directors together?
