Is it true that you can ferment, well, anything? And usually in a 2% salt brine? Can you ferment: cooked beans, sesame seeds, olives, pasta/noodles, cooked rice, nuts and seeds, almonds, sunflower seeds, anything? All in a 2% salt brine?
I'm new to fermenting so this may make me sound dumb.... Someone told me this and I'm not sure I'm buying it because it seems so simple. What are your thoughts?
Edit: and i dont mean fermenting these things together in a mixture, I mean fermenting them each alone or alone but with spices.
