A list of puns related to "Remilitarization"
I've recently ran into an argument with someone about whether or not it's fair to kick someone out of a mp game because they didn't allow germany to remilitarize the Rhineland. I say it's a fair move because allowing this to happen is basically giving your enemy an advantage that you have the option not to give, and just because someone is making a sound strategic decision that isn't historically accurate isn't enough of a reason to kick them out of the game. The other person said that france is already stronger then germany in 1936 (which to me doesn't even matter because you're not obligated to do the Rhineland focus in 1936, you can can it later if you want to give yourself more time to build up), and it would consequently be impossible for a german player to win in this situation, and it's not historically accurate.
Obviously because I'm human I think I'm right, and because this person I was debating with is also a human (I hope so at least haha) he believes he's also right, so I'm just here to ask third parties their opinions. Thanks
After establishing the Allied Control Council as the supreme authority for Germany and the legal repository of German national sovereignty, the Allied Powers transitioned this sovereignty to the new German state, once a unified German government was established. Some aspects were withheld in order to safeguard the state's neutrality in times to come, and limitations were put in place in the best interests of preventing another European war at the time.
Today, Germany invites representatives from France, the United States, the United Kingdom and the Soviet Union to Berlin to discuss removing German constitutional limitations on re-armament. The German government seeks to fulfill its status as a neutral European nation, graduated from occupation, capable of standing on its own two legs to fulfill the responsibilities placed upon it by the victorious powers of World War II. 60,000 total staff is simply not enough to meet the modern requirements of self-defense when including radar stations, non-combat personnel and other jobs that could possibly fit into civilian molds, but lack the integration and accountability that would come from such an arrangement.
We seek Allied approval for the gradual extension of the force limit to 80,000 at the beginning of 1957, 100,000 in 1958, and the full removal of remaining German military restrictions in 1959. We believe that the last decade of German government speaks for itself in its commitment to peace, neutrality and peaceful development with the other nations of the world.
We thank you and await your response.

###Security Service of Ukraine
Minister Arsen Avakov (Internal Affairs) as well as Director Ivan Bakanov (Head of Security Service of Ukraine) have both agreed for the need to make a comprehensive βlock-downβ of the Zone of Exclusion. The Ukrainian Government, through the MIA (Internal Affairs) will maintain the perimeter of the Zone of Alienation (or simply the Zone) in order to prevent unauthorized incursions.
They will βattempt to maintainβ their presence on the Ukrainian borders, however will occasionally perform foot-incursions into the Belarusian side of the Zone. Residents on the Ukrainian side, regardless of age, will be forcibly removed from the Zone.
In the immediate time, 750 additional troops will be sent to the Zone to assist current agencies in the lockdown of the region. The hopes is to send an additional 6,500 by the end of 2025 for a permanent post in the region. The Militsiya will be recalled from their current mission to simply arrest people in the region and extract them.
Now, moving forward, those who trespass into the region will be arrested and will face imprisonment for these trespasses.

I've started three separate games and save-scummed in each of them and Britain has always chosen to support me which results in Germany backing down. Am I extraordinarily (un)lucky or are there factors that influence this?
If I refuse the remilitarization of France and Germany backs down, shouldn't their focus tree be delayed? In my last 2 campaings, as France , it did not seem to be like that. They did Anschluss as they would do it if i accepted remilitarization.
Just a hypothetical (and implausible) scenario where France immediately goes to war with Germany
If Germany pulls up a miracle and crushes France without going through Belgium and just does it all on it's own, would Hitler have full reign to take what he wants?
Or would Britain interfere like it did OTL without being too intimidated?
Wouldnβt having German forces on your doorstep call for even closer cooperation with the Allies? What was the logic behind them concluding their defense treaty with France?
With the new improvements made to the Department of Logistics, BRANDT has decided to experiment with new equipment for the country's infantrymen. The new infantry equipment, ranging from mortars and machine guns to personal weapons and uniforms, represents BRANDT's finest attempt thus far to secure our country's borders with a quality fighting force. Although no new soldiers will be joining our fighting forces at this time, all existing infantry forces will receive entirely new gear within a year's time. Should this experiment be successful, BRANDT plans to roll out upgraded artillery and armor designs as well.
apan is poised to put its first aircraft carriers to sea since World War II, refitting its Izumo-class warships to carry US-designed F-35B fighter jets, the government announced Tuesday. In its 10-year Defense Program Guidelines, Tokyo said it will buy 42 of the stealthy F-35Bs, which are designed for short-run take offs and vertical landings. Those planes will be available for deployment aboard two flat-top ships, the JS Izumo and JS Kaga, which at more than 800 feet long and displacing 27,000 tons are the largest ships in the Japanese fleet. The new guidelines listed China, North Korea and Russia, as well as the United States and NATO, as entities with massive military capabilities with which Japan must concern itself. The Izumo and Kaga have been carrying helicopters designed for anti-submarine warfare since entering service over the past three years. They will need to have their decks reinforced to accommodate the heavier F-35Bs, as well as the heat and force from the jets' thrusters when they land vertically. Carl Schuster, a former director of operations at the US Pacific Command's Joint Intelligence Center, said the new aircraft carriers would give Tokyo the ability to mount territory defenses farther out from its main islands. "China's rapid modernization of the People's Liberation Army, enhancement of operational capabilities, and unilateral escalation of activities in areas close to Japan are generating strong security concerns in the region and international community, including Japan," the paper said. However Wallace and Schuster both cautioned that the Japanese carriers are small and cannot carry many aircraft -- especially compared to the US Navy's massive 90,000-ton Nimitz-class carriers or even China's 58,000-ton Liaoning carrier. The main assembly point for the F-35 is Fort Worth, Texas, but the jets are also put together in Nagoya, Japan, and Italy. Japanese government officials said all the planes in the new order will be imported.
At Wrestle Kingdom 13, Kenny Omega lost the IWGP Heavyweight Title to Hiroshi Tanahashi in the main event, hundreds of thousands watching around the world as he slipped behind the curtain to start a new venture in his career. Later that night, his contract with NJPW expired, and rumblings began popping up of him potentially going to WWE or starting his own company with the Elite. He opted for the latter, and a fantastic company was born, despite the people who say that the true Kenny Omega, the Best Bout Machine, died in the ring at Wrestle Kingdom 13, never to be seen again. So, this booking asks: what if Kenny Omega re-signed, and AEW never happened?
After Wrestle Kingdom, it's announced that Kenny is departing New Japan to find his true self, and the wrestling world blows up. The possibility of Omega in the Rumble instantly become the talk of town, as do possibilities of him founding his own company, but New Japan Pro Wrestling fans are saddened to see a generational talent leave his true home.
As the Rumble comes and goes, and the news starts to slow down on the front of the crowd-named "All Elite Wrestling," people believe that there must be trouble with funding, or WWE is waiting until the Raw after WrestleMania to bring out The Cleaner, or even sending him to NXT. However, Kenny, alongside the rest of the Elite, have other plans.
New Beginning in Osaka
Hiroshi Tanahashi (c) vs Jay White for the IWGP Heavyweight Title
"Tanahashi is clearly feeling the effects of that Indian Deathlock, the tendons could be torn from the bone... well, here he goes, scaling the top rope, looking for that High Fly Flow - JAY WHITE JUST HIT OUT THE KNEE! PULLS THE CHAMPION DOWN... BLADE RUNNER! ONE! TWO! THREE! JAY WHITE IS HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!"
Bullet Club rush into the ring as Jay White holds his new prize high, the Osaka crowd stunned to silence as the champ plants a foot on Tanahashi's chest before being hoisted up by his stable. White celebrates with the boys, black and white confetti falling as the tone goes from shock to disgust at the Bullet Club leader. White grabs a microphone for his closing address, and tells the fans that their hero is gone. "This company is no longer in the hands of Tanahashi, or Okada, or Ome-"
The crowd, and Bullet Club, all look to the stage, confused as to who it could be, before the music breaks down, the howl of "THE BEST BOUT MACHINE" bring Kenny Omega

What happens now? Does Germany remain intact with a democratic government replacing the fascist one? Does Japan still take the same route as in reality? Does Communism still spread as in our timeline without a war torn Europe and Asia?
So NSB came out, and i've been playing as the Soviet Union. I have the Battle for the Bosphorus DLC as well therefore as you know Turkey has a focus to remilitarize its straits, and i have the ability to oppose and even declare war on them if they push it too far. However apparently they can make a "compromise" and remilitarize the straits while giving all black see countries access to the straits. Well I think what that means is i can move my fleets through the straits and send them anywhere but in reality i can't. I can't send them anywhere outside of Black Sea. All my fleets in the Black Sea are still trapped in the Black Sea. Turkish straits are remilitarized as well. They just got away with it. Am I missing something?
Really odd to be honest, it used to be fine not sure whats changed
Currently article 9 of the Japanese Constitution prevents them from fighting wars to settle disputes. The Japanese Self Defense Forces, their standing defensive army, was officially allowed to defend allies as of 2015. Some want them to do even more.

Obviously this push comes in response to China and N. Korea as well as a feeling that US taxpayers should not foot the bill for other developed countriesβ militaries. OTOH, there are worries that a strong and empowered Japanese military would flare tensions not only among PRC/DPRK but also the ROK, which has a very fraught relationship with Japan that has only gotten worse recently. For those that dismiss this as they are nominally allies, the refusal of the Japanese right wing including Abe to admit there were war crimes, much less that the invasion itself was wrong, is a major concern to South Koreans.
Additionally, there are concerns that rearming would only help the resurgent Japanese far right in a time of economic downturn. The center right LDP has held power for almost all of Japanese history post war. Recently RWB commented on declining freedom of press and speech in Japan. The far right Nippon Kaigi has a third of Diet seats and is loud about the need to re-arm.
Thoughts on this?
