So I was collecting benefits with the PUA & I got an email today telling me to log in because there is “ability or availability issue” and when I logged in where it normally says “eligible” it now says “ eligibility redetermined” not sure exactly what that means ? It still says to log in on the 31st to claim for the prior weeks , This happen to anyone else ? Also my balance went up to $9k from 5k

I haven’t been paid due to eligible redetermine before that I was getting paid fine I’ve been requesting weeks since the 6/7 and still haven’t got paid has any one else have issues like this??

I went from passing everything in General to failing the Therapy section. Still passed overall.

It's just an outright embarrassment at this point.

I have a status notification on the site saying there's a Redetermine issue. It's saying I quit my job, but it's siting my job previous to my most recent. I.e. last year I had a job at Location A and I quit in order to pick up my new job at Location B. But now there's a status saying Redetermine because I quit location A? My current job at B has is furloughed but idk why they're focusing on that instead.

My other issue is that they've said my first two payments were put on the way2go card (which I still have not received), and outside of that I have no apparent payments. Yet yesterday I received a random check on the mail from them for my determined week amount but the site says nothing about this payment, and my account is set for direct deposit. What's going on!?

Hi, I've been on SSI for autism for years now but haven't had a a redetermination before, and now it turns out that in addition having submitted a bunch of medical paperwork I'm set to have a zoom meeting with something called IMA group on the 9th. Almost all reviews for this group on Yelp and google are strongly negative, with some saying they always or almost always lead to a rejection of benifits.

If anyone has any advice for how to handle this I'd really appreciate it, I'm going to contact my case manager's supervisor with my concerns (case manager herself is currently on holiday leave) but I'm not sure what other steps to take. Ps I'm in new york state

I grew up with abusive parents where "might is right" and have come to the soft-conclusion that rights do not exist. How have you all come to the conclusion, if you have, that rights do exist for everyone, but equally importantly, also for yourself? That you have a right to safety, a right to happiness, etc?

The question is important to me because I am having difficulty in understanding my situation as a child of Nparents. In my mind, as their child, as being weak and having no power (physically, economically, or otherwise), I have no choice nor right in expectations of how I was raised. But somehow, in my gut, I feel so strongly as to believe that their abuse is wrong. But why?

I'm happy to say that I've moved from a position of self-blame for my mistreatment, but I'm a bit stuck.

Perhaps I'm over-thinking it having had this line of questioning really ignited with the philosophy classes I've had the pleasure to enroll in over the years.

Upgrade Style  

This is of course up to each individual player but what works best for me is the following.  

When I begin a game I upgrade along this path:  

Enterp 25 > Milfil 10 > Enterp 50 > Milfil 25 > AndrAs 10  

Enterp 100 > Milfil 50 > Andras 25 > Milfil 100 > AndrAs 50  

CopBox 50 > AndrAs 100 > Milfil 100 > Bagala 50 > CopBox 100  

Andras 200 > Milfil 200 > Entrp 200 > Seren 30 > Bagala 100 > CopBox 200

 

Basically ones you get 3-4 planets in, upgrade the latest unlock to 30(50), then you can upgrade the previous  

one to 100 and the one before that to 200, the others will probably be 400 to 800.

 

Each planet reward will most likely unlock then next Drone (sometimes you need to grind 2-3 activations). After each next drone unlock always buy into the highest shuttle level you can afford, that way you're tap boost will increase exponentially as you move your way up.

i began receiving SSI benefits back in 2011. i applied due to having epilepsy as well as many mental health issues. in 2016 i was up for redetermination and was still considered disabled. in 2020 my redetermination came back saying that i was capable of working. i have no idea how this happened as my health has not only not gotten better, but it has dramatically gotten worse. i immediately appealed their decision. i was given a hearing date and eventually had a phone call hearing (not in person due to covid) with the man in charge of my case. a few weeks later i received paperwork saying that they still believed that i was capable of working. once again, im appealing their decision.

i know that this appeal is incredibly important, as not only will i appear in front of a judge, but if they decide im capable of working i will no longer be able to receive my monthly payments while appealing the case again. im seriously scared that if i word even one answer on my appeal paperwork wrong, i could lose absolutely everything. i know that i am honestly not able to hold a job due to my health problems. my primary care provider has even said that it'd be impossible for me to maintain a job at all. from what i can understand, the results of my last appeal seem to say that i don't have enough medical documentation to prove my health issues are as severe as they are. so im really hoping that someone here can give me some sort of advice as to how i should handle this. i would love to hire someone to represent me but i don't have those kind of funds. im a single mom and all i have to live on is the SSI check i get each month. i really can't risk losing this appeal. any advice would be incredibly appreciated.

So I’m currently 21, unemployed and I just applied for food stamps. I got a letter in the mail for redetermination and I wonder why when I just applied at the beginning of the month. I haven’t gotten any notices about an interview, phone call or anything other than the letter. I’m curious to know if I should’ve put the people that live in my house hold (2 parents, 2 siblings) on the app even though I’ll be cooking for myself only. I don’t have an income nor do I pay any bills except for my phone bill and getting necessities to live off of here and there so I didn’t list that on my app. Is there a chance I will get approved?

I got off of SSI disability over one year ago.

I got paperwork saying they need me to fill out information about my disability case and go through the entire process.. I called and told them I have no interest in receiving any government benefits and I don't need them because I'm no longer disabled. They said "it doesn't matter if you want them or not, that is up to us".

Is this true? Am I legally required to go through the entire disability process and take off time from work to go to their doctors again even though I have no interest in being on disability?

Got a redetermination today and it’s saying not eligible cause I didn’t send in Job verification in time frame I was asked to. Which is bullshit I did. But how can they give me a redetermination for the same thing I have a appealed. ?

How long did your Social Security redetermination take? I know it says it can take up to six months I just didn’t think it would actually take that long it’s been three months already I’m just wondering if anybody has gone through this how long it took them for the redetermination thank you

Hey everyone, Unemployment sent me an email at 4am saying i owe them money. MIWAM was down so i wasn’t able to check until around midday, they say i owe $12,420 (from Jan2021-present July 2021). The reason they said that was because when i had to submit proof of employment from before covid (my place of employment was shut down due to the pandemic), that the information i submitted was inadequate (if you live in Mi and you have the PUA claim extension, this was the paperwork that was due in May). Apparently the only thing i did correct was submit it on time lol. I was able to talk to someone and she told me to file a protest. The thing that confuses me is that they required my pay stubs & W-2, i submitted it the same way my significant other did yet he didn’t run into any issues? Just wondering if anyone had anything similar and if you were able to resolve it, I have my paperwork in order to submit in again for my protest, i don’t know if i need anything else for proof though. I am also anxious because i heard filing protests usually go no where & i’ll just be waiting for a while. I deeply appreciate any help, even a joke to lighten the mood, today has been nothing but complete stress!

UPDATE: Now I also owe everything for 2021 and it’s up to 23k… for some reason my claim was opened as UI even though I never chose for them to open that as my claim nor did I know I had to earn a certain amount of money in 2020 to qualify 🤢 I literally don’t even know how to protest this or how to live my life right now

I received 3 letters from unemployment. None of which stated anything being waived. I have an outstanding balance on Miwam as well.

One said :

“Your claim has been reconsidered. The prior determination is reversed. After review, it is redetermined that you are not able to establish a claim for additional PUA. You do not meet the PUA requirements because: • You were not employed in 2019 or 2020 immediately prior to the pandemic. Therefore, you have not established that you became unemployed, underemployed, unable or unavailable for work as a direct result of COVID-19. This redetermination is effective beginning March 22, 2020.”

The next one was about misrepresentation:

“Based on new or additional information your WBA and/or weeks of entitlement has been reduced. You received excessive benefits for the period shown resulting in an overpayment. You are not disqualified for benefits under MES Act, Sec. 62(b). Restitution is established under MES Act, Sec. 62(a).”

And finally the weeks overpaid & total amount (all of them).

I’m confused because I did upload my tax forms and W2’s for 2020/2019 when I submitted the re-qualification end of June. I literally did nothing wrong and now it says I owe $12k. Is it possible I still get a waiver? Should I just file a protest with the tax forms and W2’s again & try calling unemployment? Apparently people who didn’t even fill out the forms to re-qualify have been waived, which is super frustrating. Why am I being punished :)

I just called 3 times and 3 different agents transferred me to the Redeterminations Dept. Once a line was open they transferred me to a recording that states they will call you back on this number on a specific date and time (mine is scheduled for Friday August 6th 11:27 am. I'm not sure if i should keep calling back I won my appeal, my bent's are reinstated and the overpayment was cancelled, it's still on my account tho.

I'll preface this with- I did a search on the SSA website as well as here and did not find an answer. My apologies if this is redundant.

Summary: 30/f, have had cancer twice. Qualified for SSDI the second time (stem cell transplant). Had an additional 9 months of chemo post transplant because I'm high risk of relapse. Completed chemo on 6/28/21.

I'm intending to go back to work (my teaching job is union protected, so same employer/position) starting 8/16/21. I know that this will trigger the trial work period- I make much more than SGA as a teacher.

I'm assuming there will be a redetermination in Sept- 1 year after my transplant. Also totally fine.

Here's the question: while redetermination happens and I'm working, is it likely I will need to pay back any benefits from August on? Asking because my finances did take a big hit after not working for a year and I'd like to know how to budget once I start work again.
