Do we need to attend appointments after the 7th?
The Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) and the Commonwealth continue to closely monitor the situation in New Zealand. The Commonwealth and AHPPC are receiving daily briefings on the matter.
Based on updated information from New Zealand today, Acting Chief Medical Officer Professor Michael Kidd has recommended the Commonwealth not extend the pause in safe travel zone flights from New Zealand beyond 2pm, 31 January 2021. The Commonwealth has accepted this advice, meaning green zone flights will commence this afternoon.
In making this recommendation, the Acting CMO noted there have been no further confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the community in New Zealand since the initial three cases originated from transmission within hotel quarantine. The Acting CMO also noted all close contacts of the three New Zealand cases have returned negative test results, and there have been no further cases found to date in the casual contacts, previous residents of the hotel or hotel staff.
The Acting CMO notes flights from New Zealand are sufficiently low risk given New Zealand’s strong public health response to COVID-19. Given there is still a small risk of further associated cases being detected in New Zealand, with an abundance of caution, the Acting CMO has recommended pre and post flight screening be implemented for the safe travel zone flights for the next ten days. The screening will check that travellers have not been identified as close contacts, or have not visited any of the contact tracing areas of interest in New Zealand, and if they have, that they have been tested and have received the negative test results required by the New Zealand authorities.
Currently, to be eligible to fly on a safe travel zone flight, passengers must have been in New Zealand for the previous 14 days. The Acting CMO recommends that time spent in hotel quarantine does not form part of the required 14 days in New Zealand.
The AHPPC will continue to monitor the situation in New Zealand very closely, and will receive daily reports from the New Zealand health authorities on the results of the continuing contact tracing related to this outbreak.

Il fait beau aujourd’hui et il commence à faire plus chaud. Vivement que le printemps arrive vraiment ! Je vais aller chercher une pizza et l’après midi je vais me promener avec une amie. C‘est notre passe temps préféré pendant le confinement.

As of server reset today, all stations except Li Qing Jao have entered repair state and now the work begins to bring all the damaged stations back online.

Pendant que je rentrais chez moi, j'ai vu une nouvelle chute de neige commencer. Je pensais qu'il y a trop de neige cette année, mais en pensant plus, je me suis rendu compte qu'il n'y avait pas de neige pendant les deux dernières années et honnêtement, bien qu'il ait neigé deux fois, je n'a manqué qu'un journée de travail. Quand j'étais plus jeune, je manquais d'habitude 3-5 journées d'école chaque année.
Je me souviens d'une fois quand j'étais à l'école et il a commencé à neiger. L'école a dû laisser sortir les étudiants et j'ai monté dans ma petite camionnette. Il y avait de longues queues pour quitter le parking, parce que les étudiants ne partaient jamais tous au même temps. La neige s'est accumulée rapidement et les voitures ont dû conduire très lentement. Ma camionnette était très difficile à contrôler sur la neige, parce qu'elle n'était pas à quatre roues motrices, seulement deux. Trois fois, la camionnette a lentement glissé de la route parce que je n'ai pas pu la diriger. Enfin, je suis arrivé chez moi après presqu'une heure. D'habitude, il me fallait seulement sept minutes pour conduire entre l'école et ma maison. Maintenant, heureusement, j'ai une voiture à quatre roues motrices.
I did it right before noon my time just now, and NO issues!! Canceling was easy/straightforward enough, and my GBP membership showed up as usual, with February being the next active/sent month.☺️ Yay!!!!🎉🎉🍾🎉🎉
I canceled GBX because I really don’t need it,🤣🤷🏼♀️ and I was a little annoyed that I couldn’t still get my GBP.
I just decided to stick with my GB and GBP as usual for February, (I like knowing what to expect, to a level.) and see how problematic the first run of GBX ends up being, if it happens to be.
Launches with Ipsy tend to have one or many “glitches”, and I think I’d rather see how the first run plays out, before investing in the GBX in May, if I ultimately choose to.
If there are any GBX items I feel like I can’t live without/must have, I’ll just see if I can get them in Add-Ons, OR pick them up on a secondary selling market platform from a member/seller who wants to part with the item(s).😏🤷🏼♀️
