A list of puns related to "Rearseat"
Iβm 6β4β and my son is 6β7β is there anybody super tall at the unveiling that rode in the backseat that can chime in on how much headroom there is?
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!

I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π

Heard they've been doing some shady business.

Edit: Thank you guys for the awards, they're much nicer than the cardboard sleeve I've been using and reassures me that my jokes aren't stale
Edit 2: I have already been made aware that Men In Black 3 has told a version of this joke before. If the joke is not new to you, please enjoy any of the single origin puns in the comments

Don't you know a good pun is its own reword?
Hello wonderful people! My first Reddit post ever (though a longtime lurker). Anyway, I guess the title is a bit misleading. I'm looking to buy my first car with my own money. I've previously had Ford Fusion and a Jeep Grand Cherokee, one was a hand-me-down car, and one was generously purchased by my parents for me. Ford Fusion was eh and I loved the Jeep but way too large for most of my needs and I hated the gas mileage. It was also low on tech features given it was a bit of an older car.
Now I'm looking at the subcompact SUV class--specifically at Subaru Crosstreks, Toyota Corolla Cross, Honda HRV, and Mazda CX-3. I would be buying brand new so 2021 or 2022 model. Here's my list of needs/wants:
-Under $30k (really would like to stay around the 26/27k price point)
- RELIABLE!!! This one is huge. This car will be a financed purchase and I hope to make no major fixes while I'm paying the car off. I do work from home so mileage will stay pretty low but I hope to have the car for 10 years.
-High safety ratings. I've been in two car accidents that have made me a bit obsessive about car safety.
-Apple CarPlay. Pretty much a given in any car nowadays
-AWD. I live in the snowy northeast and I love to hike & camp. However, I do live in a city!
-Decent gas mileage. Anything will be better than the Jeep though lol.
-Decent cargo space. I plan on getting a large breed dog who will need to fit along with camping gear and Costco runs. "Cargo space" though can refer to not just the space behind the rear seats, I would consider cargo space to be the whole backend with the seats down.
-Reasonably comfortable rearseat for backseat passengers in case of road trips with friends & maybe future children. I would also love rear air vents for my future dog but it's not an absolute must.
-Adaptive cruise control coming standard.
I guess I am leaning towards a Crosstrek Sport or a Corolla Cross (either LE or XLE Trim). I appreciate the crosstrek's ruggedness and the fact AWD is standard (plus the high ground clearance & roof rails) but I don't like that there are no rear air vents and no rear cupholders. The Corolla Cross is appealing in that it's sort of geared towards families and while I'm 25 and I have no kids now, this car is intended to be a 10-year purchase and I likely will have kids in the future. This isn't to say though that the Crosstrek isn't a family-friendly car. In addition, of course, Toyota has bulletproof reliability but I

Hey guys.
Those of you who are lucky to own the Ioniq 5 - and chose the middle trim - do you regret not going all in and choose top spec? (see list of possible differences below). Perhaps you have test-driven the top spec after buying the middle trim, and realise "aww damn, I can't live without this feature"..
The trims might be different for different countries, but in my case, some of the differences between middle spec and top spec are (7.5k USD difference):
Park car with remote.
Electric Airplane-style seats
BOSE sound system
Glass roof
360 camera
Sunshades for rear windows for kids.
Heated rearseats.
Ventilated front seats.
and much more..
Christopher Walken
Nothing, he was gladiator.
Or would that be too forward thinking?
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
When I got home, they were still there.
What did 0 say to 8 ?
" Nice Belt "
So What did 3 say to 8 ?
" Hey, you two stop making out "
I won't be doing that today!

This morning, my 4 year old daughter.
Daughter: I'm hungry
Me: nerves building, smile widening
Me: Hi hungry, I'm dad.
She had no idea what was going on but I finally did it.
Thank you all for listening.
