A list of puns related to "Raphe"
Only just discovered and questioned the scarring I have along the Perineal Raphe. Not just between the anus and scrotum. But the scrotum to the head aswell. Widens in the middle and tapers off both ways. I thought this was normal but apparently not
Anyone know the key differences?
Can it be std?
Indian Navy have felt the need for UAVs since early 2010s so a few SeaGuardian were leased and purchased from USA. The leased units have since then been returned, but no replacement have been inducted yet. But Raphe mPhibr have won a recent render to produce them domestically. It will be launched from a ship and used for Surveillance including SIGINT, Target Acquisition, Reconnaissance and building Maritime Domain Awareness around a Task Group. The secondary roles of NSUAS would include anti-piracy, anti-terrorist activities and assist in Search and Rescue . The firm is one of the bigest producer of Indian Army and experienced enough to do a good job this time too, the details are as follow:

Are there any surgeons removing the raphe line during one-stage vaginoplasty?
Hello, im a noob in stretching and started mm2 method to help my turkeyneck. I also started to wear ball stretchers for it. I've seen some results already since my ball hangs a bit better and smoother.
The problem is, i started to get this white scab or bumps on my raphe, mostly on the midshaft area, and it hurts when I try to stretch. I believe it is formed on midshaft but its actually where raphe is connected to scrotum skin.
Can it be that I stretched too fast and too intense? and also will it go off if i take a few days break?
Thank you!
Some might recall from my previous post my abnormal circumcision. There is no visible circumcision scar line, all I have is a ridged line at the very base of my penis which I should add doesn't go all the way around. Some people were suggesting it was a cosmetic circumcision, or a low and tight circumcision, but from the pictures I've seen after the suggestion, it's still a wild goose game. I found a letter from an old urologist visit that described it as a perfect scar line & achieving anything more aesthetically pleasing is borderline impossible, for his or his colleagues skills, or any urology surgeon he'd ever worked with.
I can't begin restoring until I know what my situation even is. There's mild scar tissue on my frenulum but it doesn't seem and definitely doesn't feel entirely removed. So, examining myself, I spotted something that made me think. I still have the perineal raphe line all the way up to my frenulum from my scrotum, no breaks. So my question is, do circumcised guys with their scar line halfway up their shaft still have that? As in, beyond the scar line? Does the perineal raphe exist beneath the foreskin? There's little elasticity to my shaft so I've began pinching & tugging, trying to stretch the skin.
All advice welcome.
The question above. Cuz mine is rather visible and not smooth with the rest of the skin...
It's always been not a straight line, just kinda jaggedly. Is this normal?
Boil/pimple in the anus
Hi I have a small and slightly painful boil/pimple in my anus which causes some pain when touched. I'm a 29-year-old male. Race Indian. In Canada. I don't remember having this before although I may have had some anal discomfort on eating spicy food on previous occasions. This bump is in the anus but slightly on the external part near the beginning of the perineal raphe.
To give some context to what might be possible causes, recently on St. Patrick's Day, I have had some spicy food and alcohol consumption which ended up with me vomiting.
Around 2-3 weeks ago I had sexual contact with a male partner that I know, but we only kissed and he fingered me anally and he may have used his spit as lubricant but nothing really happened immediately after that.
The bump appeared to me just this morning, so I know it's a little too early and I might be freaking out for no reason but just want to be sure. I can share the pics if that's what required, although it's not clearly visible as I have hair there.
Please let me know what should be my next steps.
Trying to figure out a mechanism involved in antidepressants and how people react to them overall and how this leads to relief of anxiety/depression etc.
If SSRIs desensitize 5ht1a autoreceptors and this is the mechanism of action that helps provide relief of anxiety/depression to patients in need via increased 5ht release to postsynaptic serotonin outputs, then why is it that decreased 5ht1a sensitivity also leads to learned helplessness behaviors? - "DRN 5-HT neurons are hyperactive during uncontrollable stress, resulting in desensitization of 5-HT type 1A (5-HT1A) inhibitory autoreceptors in the DRN. 5-HT1A autoreceptor downregulation is thought to induce transient sensitization of DRN 5-HT neurons, resulting in excessive 5-HT activity in brain areas that control the expression of learned helplessness behaviors."
Seems counterintuitive for SSRIs to exacerbate learned helplessness behaviors? Any input is appreciated, thanks!
The English word comes from the Ancient Greek rhaphแธ, meaning "seam". Wiktionary gives the etymology of this as the Ancient Greek rhรกptล, meaning "sew". Further back than this is pure speculation, and no Proto-Indo-European root is arrived at decisively.
The Hebrew word is from the Semitic root R-F-(alef), and since Proto-Afro-Asiatic is not reconstructed, there is no going back any further than this. It's most familiar to English speakers in the proper name Raphaรซl, "God heals".
I think it's highly unlikely these two words are related, though it's striking how similar they are in both sound and meaning. If they are related, it's probably farther back than can be traced, back to the times when the PIE people were in contact and trade with, and borrowed words from, the Caananites.
Hi guys, I'm pretty sure I'm a CI0.
I was cut as an infant. The circumcision was extremely low and tight, leaving me with just a few mm of keratinized inner skin when erect. I have hair growing up to halfway along my shaft before transitioning to outer skin (much darker color).
Initially, I thought the hair was growing from a combination of scrotal / pubic mound skin, but upon closer inspection, it appears that, on the underside of my penis, there's a sizeable interruption of my raphe line. When erect, the raphe line terminates where my tightly pulled scrotum meets the shaft and resumes about an inch and a half further up where the darker outer skin begins.
I wasn't able to find much relevant information about the raphe line elsewhere, so I guess my question is... should the raphe line be continuous?
If it is supposed to be a continuous structure connecting the scrotum and the penis, then... I guess I was cut so tightly that somehow pubic mound hair was pulled onto the underside of my penis as well. I just wanna know where I stand before I commit to restoring
Just wondering if anyone else experiences a curvy penile raphe which is the line on the underside of the penis (most likely from a brutal circumcision). Also if there is anyway to help correct this curvature making it straight/ will a curved penile raphe be an issue for restoration? Thanks!
Hey guys! Anyone got any good raphe stretches? id prefer manual stuff, but any devices that help stretch the raphe especially would be helpful too. Trying to get rid of my turkey neck.
Pics and vids obviously appreciated!
Hi!
Ive done some diffirent manual methods, and noticed my raphe being wided out lately, kinda separated as two lines. Yesterday i felt a pain in my raphe at a place where the "wided out part" meets the "intact" part.
Is this a tearing? Or what is it?
I canโt post any pictures because that would be child pornography, but my penile raphe is very visible, and looks more like a question mark than a straight line. On top of that, it disappears near the head, but shows up again. Should I be concerned? Iโm really self conscious about it.
Restoration information has come a long way and there is much you can read about safety, but there is a risk I've not seen mentioned before that affected me. To prevent this from happening to others, I've decided to raise awareness with this thread. And that is the protection of your Raphe Line while restoring.
You may already know what a raphe line is; "A visible line or ridge of tissue on the human body that extends from the anus through the perineum". It is normal and present since birth. Some men have a very visible raphe line, while others may be more faded in appearance. Depending how you were circumcised, it can largely remain unaffected by the procedure. Despite being tightly cut myself, I had a thick and dark raphe line (and still is, although restoring has changed it some) which went up to my circumcision scar.
Some men may even experience sexual pleasure from the raphe line as it can be quite sensitive. It doesn't do that for me, but I still appreciate its aesthetic value. However, there was an issue shortly after I got my DTR. I had to use a holed-gripper since the no-holes gripper was too tight. Everything would have been fine had I realized what I now consider an obvious risk; Part of your raphe line can become trapped in these small holes on the gripper.
Not only can this cause irritation, but if your raphe lines skin is caught for too long then it can lose circulation and become damaged. Especially if you restore for many hours a day as I did in my overeager first months (I now believe in giving your penis more time to rest!). This happened to me, and by time I noticed it had already become grey from lack of circulation and was almost ready to flake off. Although this was just a tiny part of my raphe line, I'm sure we all want what's left of our penis to remain intact as possible. If you lose skin from your raphe line then it does not all come back after healing.
If you have a visible raphe line then please consider protecting it by using a gripper without holes on your devices. This small difference can go a long way. A good compromise and what I restore with now is a gripper with holes on one half only, and I keep the half without holes towards the raphe line. Chuck (the creator of DTR) has always been happy to do custom parts, so feel free try it out yourself. You can also stretch a no-holes gripper to loosen it up until comfortable.
Stay safe and keep on tugging!
EDIT: As noted by another poster, other devices such as the CAT II
