A list of puns related to "Raphe"
Only just discovered and questioned the scarring I have along the Perineal Raphe. Not just between the anus and scrotum. But the scrotum to the head aswell. Widens in the middle and tapers off both ways. I thought this was normal but apparently not
Anyone know the key differences?
Can it be std?
Indian Navy have felt the need for UAVs since early 2010s so a few SeaGuardian were leased and purchased from USA. The leased units have since then been returned, but no replacement have been inducted yet. But Raphe mPhibr have won a recent render to produce them domestically. It will be launched from a ship and used for Surveillance including SIGINT, Target Acquisition, Reconnaissance and building Maritime Domain Awareness around a Task Group. The secondary roles of NSUAS would include anti-piracy, anti-terrorist activities and assist in Search and Rescue . The firm is one of the bigest producer of Indian Army and experienced enough to do a good job this time too, the details are as follow:

Are there any surgeons removing the raphe line during one-stage vaginoplasty?
Some might recall from my previous post my abnormal circumcision. There is no visible circumcision scar line, all I have is a ridged line at the very base of my penis which I should add doesn't go all the way around. Some people were suggesting it was a cosmetic circumcision, or a low and tight circumcision, but from the pictures I've seen after the suggestion, it's still a wild goose game. I found a letter from an old urologist visit that described it as a perfect scar line & achieving anything more aesthetically pleasing is borderline impossible, for his or his colleagues skills, or any urology surgeon he'd ever worked with.
I can't begin restoring until I know what my situation even is. There's mild scar tissue on my frenulum but it doesn't seem and definitely doesn't feel entirely removed. So, examining myself, I spotted something that made me think. I still have the perineal raphe line all the way up to my frenulum from my scrotum, no breaks. So my question is, do circumcised guys with their scar line halfway up their shaft still have that? As in, beyond the scar line? Does the perineal raphe exist beneath the foreskin? There's little elasticity to my shaft so I've began pinching & tugging, trying to stretch the skin.
All advice welcome.
The question above. Cuz mine is rather visible and not smooth with the rest of the skin...
It's always been not a straight line, just kinda jaggedly. Is this normal?
Trying to figure out a mechanism involved in antidepressants and how people react to them overall and how this leads to relief of anxiety/depression etc.
If SSRIs desensitize 5ht1a autoreceptors and this is the mechanism of action that helps provide relief of anxiety/depression to patients in need via increased 5ht release to postsynaptic serotonin outputs, then why is it that decreased 5ht1a sensitivity also leads to learned helplessness behaviors? - "DRN 5-HT neurons are hyperactive during uncontrollable stress, resulting in desensitization of 5-HT type 1A (5-HT1A) inhibitory autoreceptors in the DRN. 5-HT1A autoreceptor downregulation is thought to induce transient sensitization of DRN 5-HT neurons, resulting in excessive 5-HT activity in brain areas that control the expression of learned helplessness behaviors."
Seems counterintuitive for SSRIs to exacerbate learned helplessness behaviors? Any input is appreciated, thanks!
The English word comes from the Ancient Greek rhaphแธ, meaning "seam". Wiktionary gives the etymology of this as the Ancient Greek rhรกptล, meaning "sew". Further back than this is pure speculation, and no Proto-Indo-European root is arrived at decisively.
The Hebrew word is from the Semitic root R-F-(alef), and since Proto-Afro-Asiatic is not reconstructed, there is no going back any further than this. It's most familiar to English speakers in the proper name Raphaรซl, "God heals".
I think it's highly unlikely these two words are related, though it's striking how similar they are in both sound and meaning. If they are related, it's probably farther back than can be traced, back to the times when the PIE people were in contact and trade with, and borrowed words from, the Caananites.
Just wondering if anyone else experiences a curvy penile raphe which is the line on the underside of the penis (most likely from a brutal circumcision). Also if there is anyway to help correct this curvature making it straight/ will a curved penile raphe be an issue for restoration? Thanks!
Hi!
Ive done some diffirent manual methods, and noticed my raphe being wided out lately, kinda separated as two lines. Yesterday i felt a pain in my raphe at a place where the "wided out part" meets the "intact" part.
Is this a tearing? Or what is it?
