TIL about Clutorius Priscus, a Roman poet paid to write an obituary for Emperor Tiberius' son Germanicus in AD 19. Hoping to sell another, he penned an obituary for Tiberius' son Drusus when he fell ill. Drusus recovered, and Clutorius was executed for predicting his death.

So, i have found these two teeth in a creek in Italy, to be precise in Tuscany. Iβm wondering if these are only from a simple cow or from an extinct bison, I have done some research and I think it could be from a bison priscus (steppe bison). Let me know, thank you

Quinkana, a land based crocodile the size of modern day salt water crocodiles. Found in Australia, it lived from about 24 million to about 40,000 years ago. It was one of the apex predators of its time, along with another large reptile, Varanus Priscus.
