The man has an obp of .444 and is just killing it in his 12th (!!) year on the Giants. He’s carrying the team!
He really fell off there for a couple years, but his career stats are better than I thought they would be
.301/.370/.457, OPS+ of 126
RoY, MVP, 6x all star, 4x silver slugger, 1 gold glove (though it really should be more)
3x World Series champion
He’s on pace for 25+ home runs this year, and maybe that production continues until say 2023. I figure best case scenario he reaches 200HR/1000 rbis, makes a couple more all star appearances/gold gloves, maybe 1 or 2 more silver sluggers, and keeps that average above .300
Not that it matters too much, but he’s also a great ambassador to the game. I’m biased so I think you let him in, but it looks to me like he’s right on that bubble at the moment. Thoughts?
