A list of puns related to "Populus"
This issue is the most key aspect of the insanely small silver market. Yet, i see no research about it. Our Ditch, Kientz, Marcus, Butler, Morgan, McLeod , all focus mostly on comex.
So i introduce my little analysis here.
How many people buy silver each year in serious (as oppose to accidental) amounts? Heres my estimation based on Global Wealth reports, wealth distribution - that means purchasing power and private est. of how many people are aware of silvers value.
Silver bullion supply gets larger by about 250Moz each year. Some people buy all that.
~ 1,000 top stackers buy on avg 50,000 oz a year / 50Moz total
~ 20,000 stackers buy on avg 2,500 oz a year / 50M oz
100,000 stackers buy avg 500 oz a year / 50M oz
400,000 buy avg 200 oz a year / 80M oz
approx 5 million people buy 4 oz on avg as a family gift or are numismatics hobby collectors / 20M oz
Thats all folks!
Just 521,000 people stack! The above assumes bullion banks buy nothing. We know that they do. The more they buy, the less individuals can buy.
If you think 10x more people stack silver, you must assume that those who buy 20 oz a year are stackers. Hmm. And that ultra richest ducks in the world who are fully aware of silvers value buy just 5000 oz per year.
Show me any data or estimation that will prove that top 20-30k stackers cannot buy more than 100Moz ;)
I am looking for trembling aspen trees does anyone know where I can purchase some? I have called a few nurseries around town and none have them or are planning on having them in the spring.
On November 1st 50 points were deducted from my account. On the FAQs I read that it takes 10-14 days to be processed. It is now the 20th and I have not received the cheque yet.
Is this normal or should I get concerned?
Blockchain gaming projects like Illuvium have reached remarkable valuations in the tens of billions in recent weeks, despite sometimes featuring highly stripped-down or no currently playable games.
Itβs an environment in which Ethereum- and Solana-based gaming studio Ex Populus is attempting to find its footing, one that co-founder Soban βSobyβ Saqib calls a βpredatoryβ investment landscape built on hype.
The project announced Tuesday an $8.5 million funding round, part of a push to bring different player earnings models to blockchain gaming β and a more down-to-earth valuation, currently at $80 million.
The company closed the round with participation from Akatsuki Inc, Gerstenbrot Capital, Blockwall Digital Assets, Citizen X, Fisher 8 Capital, Perpetual Protocol, Yolo Ventures, Libra Capital Ventures, 8186 Capital and Sneaky Ventures, among others. Ex Populus also previously raised a $3 million seed round led by Animoca Brands in October.
βWe think as more people start this play-to-earn model, there will be a supply shock and a race to the bottom,β Saqib said in an interview with CoinDesk.
He compared the phenomena to forks of popular DeFi protocols that βout-bribeβ other platforms by printing tokens. In the same way, blockchain games can currently reach large market capitalizations but offer little by way of players, earnings or other important metrics.
Ex Populus is also hoping to attract attention with a novel token distribution method: 40% of the platformβs forthcoming token supply will be earned by players, with the majority going to the best players in a βproof-of-skillβ distribution system β a play on βproof-of-stakeβ and βproof-of-work,β two foundational consensus and mining mechanisms in blockchain.
The companyβs long-term goal is to become a multi-game platform and publisher, similar to Steam or Enjin. Blockchain gaming platform Enjin is also an investor in Ex Populus, according to Saqib.
Currently Ex Populus has two games in development: LAMO, a shooter with NFT-backed collectibles, and Decentralized Autonomous GigaUnits, a trading card game that will be accompanied by an animated series, with more in development.
βThatβs what Iβm excited about β bringing really good, complete games into the ecosystem, because I donβt understand how people can go and buy something at a $20, $30, $40 billion-dollar valuation. Nintendo is at a $42 billion valuation. Itβs disgusting,β Saqib said.
News from the Internet
This is such a FUN game! I donβt see it mentioned much on this subreddit so I wanted to show Populus Run a little love β€οΈ In this game, you are trying to outrun donuts and other junk food. You have to jump or dodge to get out of the way. It may sound like a typical runner style game but itβs not - itβs really well done. Try it out and let me know what you think!
I've taken a long break from playing CE, and when I came back, I was disapponted to see many of the mods I've used either broken or officially discontinued. One of the abandoned ones is Populus.
Anyone know any mods that could be used to make your RP towns in PvE more interesting by posing thralls into doing emotes? The Populus mod used to be like that, but it hasn't been updated in ages and will break your game if you use it.
I'm a Black American but my parents are Bahamian ancestory. What did Ian Smiths time as Prime Minister look like, what did he think of Black Rhodesians. Was he a staunch segregationist?
Don't you think that his stubbornness radicalized more Black Nationlists.
I'm unfamiliar with Rhodesian Politics so help me understand his positions.
Any information would be helpful. Thanks!
