A list of puns related to "Paddleboat"
Mom doesn't mind it if we go to the park behind our house, so long as I watch my little brother, Mikey.
There's a really big pond out there, right in the middle and the surface is so calm that it shines like a mirror. When the ducks swim by, you can see them reflected so perfectly in the water that if you looked at them from the right angle, you wouldn't know which was the duck and which was the reflection.
I always liked going out on a paddle boat in the pond. Dad bought Mikey and I our own a few years back. You can just drag it over and push it into the water. Mom wasn't happy about it, but Dad said it would be fine. He'd seen other kids in paddleboats there. They even rent them to people.
Mom eventually said it was okay if we went. But only so long as Mikey and I don't go under the stone bridge.
The bridge is long and stretches over the narrowest part of the pond. It's old and made of stones. It curves so perfectly that when you look at it, and the reflection in the water, they make a perfect circle. I always wanted to ride my paddleboat through it. Something about it just seems inviting. But last time I tried, Mom almost ran into the water to stop me.
I don't know why she's so afraid of it. You can see the other side. There's nothing but a few reed's and trees against the shore. Sometimes at night, you'll see fireflies or hear frogs. But that's it.
I asked her once why she didn't want us to go there and she got all quiet. She almost looked like she was sad for a moment before she spoke.
She told us she'd had a friend when she was my age, a friend who was very dear to her. She told me that one day she raced them to the bridge in a paddleboat just like ours. She wasn't as fast as her friend was. She said they made it to the bridge first. Then she went quiet.
I asked her what happened. She just shook her head and refused to answer.
"Just promise me you'll stay away from the bridge. Do it for me, okay? It's not safe there. I promised her I would. I promised her I wouldn't let Mikey go there either.
I don't know what to tell her now. I was watching Mikey from the shore! I swear I was! I saw him headed for the bridge but I thought he'd turn back! I told him to turn back! He didn't.
I don't see him anymore now. I don't even see his boat.Β How could he get lost? The bridge is so narrow. There's nothing on the other side! There's nothing... Nothing I can see, at least.
In the news:
Ricer Miata - flexing a new MAXPEEDINGRODS sponsorship, Chris installs a $120 chinese turbo on the Ricer Civic, while showing a brand new Garrett and manifold he actually plans to install on it at a later date. The entire video is basically an ad for his new sponsor.
Marcus Parks - India (sp?) is back in the picture and Marcus takes her for a serene pleasure cruise on his mostly buoyant paddleboat.
Jack Cecil - is very, very obviously going to win whatever competition the FL gang has in mind for these lawn tractors. Installs a new hitch and tows a Super Duty. Orion's budget tow rig is spinning in its grave.
Life OD - turns out Harbor Freight trailer tires have a 4x100 bolt pattern; the EF Civic is subjected to further humiliation.
Ty - caught nut to butt with LZ's ex girlfriend in CT (the one he called his cousin). Turns out plan B was Ty's plan A all along.

I'm playing on Sunset Valley, so recently this boat has just been in the water - since days.
Is there a way for me to get rid of it without cheating?
Already tried Edit Town - Select Beach - but the water doesn't count to the customizable places.
I've found a possible bug or glitch with the paddleboats. It's something I've noticed a few times on 2 different computers in various saves. The hair/face graphics don't always stay with the animation of the guests while they're on the paddleboats. Has anyone else seen this? I don't have any mods installed.

I was planning to get a paddleboat to take my kids out in but every single store in my area is sold out. Iβve been shopping online and bizarrely I cannot find a single online retailer that has a single paddleboat in stock. I donβt understand what has caused this sudden nationwide shortage. Anybody know where I can get one?
Iβm DMing a campaign thatβs actually an alternate timeline of our own- it takes place on Earth in the 1600βs, and sailing is a big part of the campaign. Two sessions ago, the party sailed to Japan to meet an NPC important to advancing the plot. Part of said plot is that thereβs a million Drow waging a war on the surface world to conquer all of Asia. While in Japan, the party (two bards and a wizard, all level 3) were present for a huge battle: three frigates full of those Drow soldiers had just anchored off the coast to try and invade Japan.
I gave the PCs a nice map with several useful areas and mechanics to join in the fight: a potion shop right by the front lines with a spare Potion of Heroism for sale, an abandoned cannon on a rooftop a block back from the shore, a few fortified vantage points (including a bell tower to call for backup if needed) and a small, bicycle-style paddleboat at the docks in front of the defending Samurai battalion. These absolute madlads took the paddleboat right up to the Drow fleet.
They went around the first wave of Drow lifeboats heading towards the beach and went right toward the nearest frigate firing cannons at the shoreline. Once they got near enough, the Lore bard casts heat metal on the chain holding the anchor. After breaking the damage threshold, I ruled that heβd successfully set the ship on fire, and he started casting heat metal on the second nearest ship to sink it the same way. By the way, this all happened while the party was being shot at by the soldiers on the ship with crossbows.
After sinking two ships, the third one pulled up its anchor and retreated, leaving half its crew behind on the beach to fight the Samurai without any more backup. I was so impressed, I leveled the party up twice (since they were already almost to level 4 anyway) and had the Samurai commander award the bard a Flame Tongue for being a fucking genius.
Loot Lake's always had that stigma of being the 'noob's landing spot' because it sounds like the most appealing POI but it isn't very practical when you have to leave, jumping across the water.
BUT what if the boats were able to be ridden. Each of the boats in the water with the chests on could be ridden around, but also have 1 extra boat at the bottom of the house, as an escape for 1 or 2 people.
I feel like if the boats had a bit of pace, but could be shot at and broken easily, Loot Lake could be a much more fun, niche landing place if everyone was racing for the paddle boats to make an escape.
EDIT: Just imagine you're coming in to land on the roof of the loot lake, but some other kid swoops down next to you and starts beating your ass with his axe. You break your way through and sprint to the chest, but make the terrible mistake of opening it first. The guy next to you sweeps it all up, and you're already legging it out of there. He's on your tail right up until you take a quick turn and drop down into the getaway boat below. He's looking around amongst the campfire and trees outside, losing precious seconds -- until he spots you in out in the water paddling away. He sprays everything in his clip at you, to no avail. You then proceed to turn around and dab on that MF as you sail into the moonlight cause all he got in the chest was an SMG, bandages and a nade.
Epic pls
Where in Omaha or Council Bluffs can you rent one of the above? Iβm hoping for somewhere theyβre already in the water, not having to load up on top of a car and take somewhere, if that makes sense. Would like somewhere to fish and possibly swim as well.
Not looking for today just for this summer in general. Thanks!!
