I often see people asking how much HP is needed to reach the cap for the accumulated heal of the Ocean-hued Clam set, so I thought to put out calculations. First picture is with talent 9 and second picture is with talent 10, for both the elemental skill and elemental burst. Normal Attack talent is ignored as it does not contribute to heal.

First column is minimum HP needed. Format details calculations for easy verification.. Next two columns calculates how much a single and two jellyfish proc heals. Next columns calculates how much a single normal attack contribute to heal bubble accumulation, as well as for 4 and 6 normal attacks. 6 normal attacks (NA) is the expected amount of normal attacks within the 3 second accumulation time per bubble, assuming N2D (2 normal attacks then dash).

If you choose to attack 3 normal attacks and wait, then the mean number of hits should be closer to 4.5 hits, but I chose 4 as a lower factor from variance. Next are totals with 1 jellyfish hit with 4 NA, then 1 Jellyfish hit with 6 NA. Then total with 2 jellyfish hits with 4 NA, the with 6 NA.

In actuality the average mean number of times the jellyfish will be 1.5 times. As long as the enemy is within jellyfish range, it will hit at least once within the accumulation period. Of course it is possible for the jellyfish to hit none of the times.

I highlighted in blue the cells in which the total healed exceeds the cap of 30000. So for example, if talent 9, and jellyfish hits both times, you need a minimum of 24k HP to be able to reach cap. If talent 10, you need a minimum of 22k HP to be able to reach the cap. If the Jellyfish never hits, 40k HP can reach cap.

Theoretically the highlighted HP show the HP point where half the time you will reach the cap as theoretically it is possible to sometimes get 5 and 7, but due to granularity, 6 hits should be fairly conistent. As for the jellyfish,

All values are whole numbers for clarity, but they are calculated with true values.

TL:DR; The minimum HP needed to reach heal cap is 24k HP at talent 9 and 22k HP at talent 10.

As title says! Just having this dilemma as most Spiral Abyss videos with Kokomi in freeze comps run ToM with TTDS, however I've already got her fully built with OHC and Moonglow (─‿‿─) Plus my Moonglow pulls were painful.

The team she'll be in is Ayaka, Shenhe + Kazuha (+ Shenhe's ult increases the bubble pop damage). I'm just wondering if I should farm up ToM instead or my current build is fine. Any help is appreciated thank uuuu ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

I had Kokomi equipped with 4-piece HoD set since her release, Hydro dmg goblet. I finally just farmed enough decent pieces of the ocean hued clam set for her, but now I'm realizing I don't know if hydro dmg or hp% benefits her more with this set. Should I switch to a hp% goblet for better healing aka better bubble burst damage?

Hi all just looking for some help deciding if I should keep farming for a Physical Main DPS Qiqi using OHC. Is there any kind of consensus if maximizing Qiqi's personal dmg is ok or much worse overall than the typical atk/hb build? Is it even possible for a phy/crit OHC build to produce comparable bubble dmg to a max atk/healer build when Qiqi is on the field?

4pc Pale Flame will of course give Qiqi better personal damge but I was kind of hoping that the bubble dmg could help make up the difference or overtake with lucky substats.

Hello there. I love my little zombie child and one of my long-term Genshin goals of 2022 is to build her and take her to at least lvl 80. I've decided on the OHC (not exactly in any shortage of crit pieces farming for Kokomi, screw you Slumbering Court) but I'm at a loss when it comes to picking a suitable sword. My options are as follows:

R3 Sacrificial, R3 Favonius, R2 Flute, R4 Amenoma Kageuchi, R5 Prototype Rancor, R1 Blackcliff, and an R2 Black sword.

Personally I'm leaning towards the Sacrificial for her skill but only when I R5 it, the Favonius because crits will be easy to achieve by simply adding another Cryo teammate, and the Kageuchi because of its passive. Although I cannot deny the other weapons would also work well, I just don't know by how much.

Hey all, I’m new to this topic and stayed up ridiculously late last night diving into this sub. First off, I want to say how impressed I am at all the work that’s gone into this internet oddity. I had a ton of fun (albeit quite unsettling fun!) going through all the research and theories, so thanks for all the great sleuthing and effort.

One thing remains unclear to me, though: are there differences in the actual layouts of the levels between the original version that OHC posted on YouTube and the notorious “true” version that “ZK” subsequently posted on 4chan? Or are the only differences between the two versions found in the content of the still images that flash on screen?

If the two versions’ actual hallway map layouts differ (even subtly), the theory that some 4chan troll quickly slapped a clone version of the game together makes a little more sense. However, if they’re identical, it makes infinitely more sense to me that OHC just swapped out the pictures in a perverse attempt to cover his tracks after getting caught lying about the .onion link to Kotaku. (“Oh no, they figured out the link was fake! How do I get out of this? I’ll just say the original had gore and cp and swap out some pics and post it to 4chan under ZK’s name.”)

I’m asking because I have no intention of downloading any version of the game to make the comparison; I’ve seen the 4 surviving playthrough videos on OHC’s channel, and I’m not about to go searching for other playthroughs looking for aforementioned differences. I have zero interest in seeing any of the gore, let alone the cp. Hence, I pose the question to y’all.

Also, finding the name “Jamie” along with date/timestamps that conflict with his story in the game files (and the fact that he went silent shortly after that discovery) really reads as damning evidence and guilty behavior to me… but I’m anything but a computer programmer and have no idea how easy/difficult it would be to frame someone in that manner, as OHC claims (weakly, IMO)

Lastly, I’m not trying to be the “I spent one night reading about this and I think I solved it!” guy, I’m just trying to settle my own thoughts about what happened here.

Ford famously uses the 5.0 modular V8 DOHC and before that the Triton 5.4 OHC. Toyota uses OHC V8 in the Tundra, and I believe Nissan uses OHC V8 in their Titan. Chevy and Dodge still stick to their OHV.

From what I've seen, people regard OHV motors are good for low end torque. So is there any advantage Toyota, Ford, or Nissan has going with an OHC for a truck?

Sometimes it seems very arbitrary which Marvel hardcovers gets branded as an omnibus instead of an OHC. Smaller books like Duggan's Guardians of the Galaxy and Spencer's Superior Foes of Spider-Man are omnibuses, whereas bigger books like Hulk: Dogs of War and the Wedding of Cyclops and Phoenix are not. So, I have two questions:

1. Does anyone know why certain books get the "omnibus treatment," as opposed to just being a standard OHC?
2. What are some other examples of omnibus-sized OHCs?
