Hello! I have a question about using the oblique case when a postposition applies to multiple terms. For example, If I wanted to say, "This is a big problem for men and women", would the correct Hindi translation be, "यह आदमियों और औरतों के लिए एक बड़ी समस्या है" or "यह आदमी और औरतों के लिए एक बड़ी समस्या है"?

I am compiling a medical phrasebook in Hindi and need some help with the oblique case, please.

My understanding is that all transitive verbs will require oblique case.

So, "take this" should be "ise lijiye" (not ye lijiye) and "do this" should be "ise kijiye" (not ye kijiye)?

Also, "close your mouth" should be "aapne munh band kijiye" (not aapnaa munh)?

I'm trying to sell some pens for the Baltimore pen show in a week. So, up for grabs are some Pelikans, Montblancs, and a really nice Aurora 88. Here are the verification/writing sample. Prices include US domestic shipping.

[C+] Pelikan M250 Black - 14C Medium Nib

This is an M250 fountain pen - essentially an upgraded M200 with a 14C nib instead of a steel nib. It's a nice way to get a gold pelikan nib without paying for the M400 which comes with some extra gold trim. Condition is mostly very good with light microscratching but there is a tiny sliver of brassing under the letters "-any" in Germany on the cap ring, hence the C+. No other brassing. [B+] Pelikan Old Style M800 Blue Stripe - 18C OM Nib

This pen is in excellent condition and has a less common oblique medium nib, which was discontinued in 2013 due to low demand. Old style because it has gold color medallions on the top of the cap and end of the barrel. Marked "Germany" so post-1991. Slightly springy nib as is typical for the older M800's. Rated B+ because this pen is in great shape with no brassing or cracks or plating wear. Light wear. Pen writes well. Asking $315 shipped OBO (reduced from $335) More images

[B+] Montblanc "M" Marc Newson - 14k Medium Nib

This is a really cool modern style pen designed by Marc Newson who worked on the Apple design team. The cap closing mechanism works using magnetic force to always align the clip with the montblanc star. Nib is 14k and about a medium - it writes great with typical montblanc flow and smoothness.

Condition is near mint with few signs of wear. Can't confirm if it's NOS so I won't label it as such but it really is a gem. Comes with original box, outer paper holder, and documentation. Hey Guys, has anyone seen a rep of this beautiful Dior Oblique case and airpods case? I'm sure it's not a fantasy piece as I've seen the retail version of it, the price was around 2200 USD. Thanks! Retail on the airpods case is around 300 USD I believe. I know there was a post for the airpods case a month ago, however it was only a day after it was announced. So Sanskrit nouns had eight cases, including nominative/accusative case system like Other Indo-European languages. Hindi has lost many of the cases of Sanskrit, which in itself is not surprising, since many Indo-European languages have done the same. However, what I find interesting is that it has a Direct/Oblique alignment when other Indo-European languages keep the nominative/accusative case system. What are the historical reasons for this?

I understand that oblique case is not an acusative or a dativ or a genitive. Then is it a circunstancial value?

I do not understand why .bi is an oblique case in verbal chain and not a conjugation prefix.

I'm at the DC pen show and have a few things for sale. Anyone can buy these items but I'm pioritizing people also in DC who I can meet up with and hand the item(s) off to. Pens: Ryan Krusac custom "Epic of the Kraken" - The pen was commissioned at the Philadelphia pen show and is the Kraken art on the larger epic body (hence my inspiration for its name). The artwork is numbered 60/150. I asked Ryan to patina all the trim and make it look like it belonged to Sea and he nailed it. Some of the patina on the grip has changed but it still fits the look. The pen is currently fit with a black Goulet 1.5 nib but I have some other nibs I can swap in if that's a sticking point. This pen is big, heavy and beautiful. Definitely looks great on display but I don't like how it feels in the hand. I've only put a few fills through the pen as I'm a user and this is more a collectible. Comes with the single pen wrap the pen shipped in, I believe his wife makes the wraps. Price is $325.

Platinum 3776 Kawaguchi, Broad -->stub - SOLD

The next pen I have for sale is a limited edition platinum 3776 century Kawaguchi model. Because this pen is from the lake series only 2500 were produced (this is 0659/2500). It's a beautiful dark blue contrasted by rhodium trim. If you have a Shung Yo this pen would make the perfect companion. The nib was originally a broad but the previous owner had it ground to a stub by Mark Bacas. This nib is fantastic and is one of my favorites. I'm going to try to have Mark grind my L2K at the show so I won't be needing this platinum anymore. No significant wear on the pen. Comes with box and papers. Price is $200. PLATINUM IS SOLD

Parker 51, OBLIQUE Broad - Third pen for sale is a maroon Parker 51 with a nib you don't usually find on one of these bad boys. Rather than the usual extra fine/fine, monoline nib I have an oblique broad. Pen was purchased from Laywine's in Toronto before Scriptus last year and they said it was in full worker order, I can back this claim up. I don't know if the oblique is factory. I've heard the only way to know is to dismant

if I wanted to say "there are no pools here", or "they carried no prizes", would I say οὐδένα τὰ τόλματα ἐστιν ἐνταῦθα / ἐκόμισα οὐδένα τὰ γέρᾱ . I never seem to see οὐδείς as the neuter plural οὐδένα, and definitely not in poetry (like Homer, where I can only find repetitions of ούδέν). Isn't that a bit limiting if you want to say there are no -neuter plural things- in a sentence? What are the alternatives?
