A list of puns related to "Non Dairy Creamer"
I started listening to Fiber Fueled by Dr Will Bulsiewicz which is blowing my mind. I found myself nodding along agreeably to how detrimental the western diet is to the microbiome... until he mentioned main sources of trans fats to include non dairy creamers. What?! Rewind! Not my beloved Silk Soy Creamer! As soon as I got home I read the ingredients on the box and saw... 'palm oil'.
Ground coffee is a new concept to me (I'm an Englishman who loves his cups of tea and has a jar of instant coffee for other times!), but I've started French press brewing a light blend of coffee (hazelnut Arabica) and drinking it black (with a sachet of Stevia), and already off the bat it's in no way bitter.
Good times, great flavour, and no more palm oil sneaking into my diet - thank you Dr B!
The issue about this is I don't want a daily dose of palm oil.
I make a large cup in the AM, have part and refrigerate part. Then that remaining part goes in a travel mug for around 6 hours. I use non-dairy creamer, but feel it's not healthy. I know one option is cream or half and half, but I'd felt odd about having the coffee in the travel mug for so long, but in truth that's not so long. Still, I'm wondering what is the best ndc substitute aside from cream. The key issue for me is that it has to really cream the coffee. I've had really poor ndc from Family Dollar and literally threw away like 7 jars (I bought in them in bulk to save $ LOL complete fail). It was so bad I had no intention of having it ever again, and went back to my store brand ndc, which is on par with Walmart's store brand as well. But palm oil. So?
Does Aldi have a Non-dairy creamer similar to Coffee mate that's not flavored?
This might only be a problem with food labeling in the U.S., but food/drinks here can be labeled "non-dairy" even if they contain ingredients that come from cow milk.
Ex1 Non-dairy creamer often contains sodium caseinate from milk. These creamers are labeled "non-dairy"...and also "contains milk". Fuck me sideways.
Ex2 This is a new one, and I've only encountered this at the Boba shop called ShareTea, which is a chain in the U.S. The "milk" in most of their drinks contains whey, but this milk is labeled "non-dairy". Guys. The "non-dairy" milk contains whey. Fucking how? It also contains palm oil. What the fuck? ShareTea is the only place where I've seen this, and I'm glad I asked the woman working there if I could see the ingredient list. She literally told me that she didn't know that whey comes from milk. I don't really care that she didn't know...a lot of people don't know basic stuff about food, I don't hold it against her personally. But she didn't label this stuff non-dairy, that's on corporate, and I do blame them.
So, at least if you're in the U.S., please remember that "non-dairy" items may actually contain milk ingredients, and that's somehow allowed for some goddamn reason.
I want to switch to a non dairy creamer for my tea, but every thing Iβve tried separates from the tea like oil and water.
So far Iβve tried various brands of almond milk and oat milk.
I like the taste of most of the ones Iβve tried, and Iβd be willing to switch to any of them, but the separation is really off-putting to me, it just doesnβt look appetizing. It almost looks like chunky spoiled milk.
I stir it really well when I first pour, then I swirl my cup periodically to keep it from separating.
Is anyone else having this problem? Any recommendations?
So every other ingredient I'm sure about except this one. It's an indomie pack.
My husband and I work opposing schedules so we go to a local Starbucks to get my markout and something for him to have on his drive to work as our little date whenever we can.
We've been getting iced Americanos and putting our own creamer in it.
So far we've tried the Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles International Delight creamers. It's been Chefs kiss I want to try more and start a little collection!
What are your go to non dairy flavored creamers?
Hello, I've been wondering if Coffee creamer is non-dairy or if anyone of you know any brands that sell non-dairy coffee creamer. I've contacted 2 companies that sell coffee creamers but they told me it is not 'non-dairy'.
I haven't been able to get either of the 2 flavors I like for a couple of months now here in MD. Has anyone else noticed this?
