A list of puns related to "Nelly Furtado"
Essentially, I am just obsessed with the melody progression and synths used at the 0:38 mark of this song. Scratches that part of my brain just right :) Looking for songs that use similar techniques!
Hereβs the instrumental track for reference (synth @ 0:38) :

This album, along with Usher's Confessions were my two absolute grails, with the original pressings always going for crazy prices. I'm so impressed with the Confessions press (wish it was gatefold). But I know there's the issue of Nelly's masters being burnt in the UMG fire. An absolutely essential mid 2000s R&B/Pop album that could do with a decent repress if possible.
I've been studying all evening and I put Nelly on shuffle on my spotify. Turn Off The Light just came on, for anyone who is unfamiliar with her discography please listen to this one!
Loose is pop perfection but honestly Whoa Nelly! is my all time fav Nelly album. She so dirty I live for it π©
This woman just transported me back to High School, can we petition for her to tour again and r/popheads all has one giant meet up at her concert?
Edit: canβt believe all the love nelly getting ππ we all nostalgic as fuck.

First heard from 45 -47 seconds and then again from 50 seconds through to the start of the chorus.
Results of Disney Movie Songs and Popheads' Favorite Songs TTPT will be posted sometime tomorrow, sorry for the delay!
Hello r/popheads, and welcome back to another round of Top Ten Pop Ten.
The artist you'll send a top 10 list for this time is Nelly Furtado.
But wait... Weren't we supposed to feature TWICE this time? Well, they've decided to release new music out of the blue (or maybe not, I may have not seen an announcement if there was one), and doing a TTPT right before the release of their new album wouldn't feel right. And I did promise that we would feature Nelly Furtado instead in case of an opening, (though I must say I didn't expect it to happen so soon lmao), so here we go!
Here is a rundown of her discography as a refresher:
She has relatively few features, so they are all allowed. (ex. Give It To Me, Broken Strings, Morning After Dark)
You can put non-album singles, unreleased songs and remixes (will be combined with the original song in the final results if the remix doesn't get significant amount of points) in your list too.
Please read the guidelines below if you haven't participated in TTPT before:
