Was haltet ihr von der MTN Group Aktie? Ist praktisch die Telekom in Süd Afrika. Eigentlich geht es ihnen gut, die Geschäfte laufen wenn ich es richtig verstehe, Corona hat ihnen mehr Kunden gebracht... doch kämpfen sie mit dem schwachen Rand. Vor einiger Zeit hatten sie eine fiese Strafe zahlen müssen, der den Kurs zum Einsturz gebracht hat. Ich schätze jedoch, dass sie sich auf lange Sicht wieder erholen... Dieser Post stellt kein DD dar, keine Kaufempfehlung, oder ähnliches, ... mich würde eure Meinung interessieren.

The telephone part probably isn't applicable now since most people are working from home at this stage, but can anyone share what practices they have at work?
Does everyone have a desk phone and is it a PABX/VOIP system? Does everyone get allocated a mobile phone from work or does the company subsidise their cellular usage? I'm asked to implement a telephony plan for 2021 and am wondering what the common practice is with other IT companies.

So to describe my situation in detail, I use dual sim and have two contracts at the same company one with an unlimited mobile data (sim1) the other one with locked mobile data (sim2) which number I only use so people can reach me. Last month I changed my contract so that sim2 has the contract of sim1 and other way around and while that happened they probably made a mistake and somehow the sim with unlimited data was locked and the one which has no such flatrate was unlocked. Because I have some stress with the situation atm I didn't paid much attention what sim I used over the month because I thought the situation was fine and only realized my mistake when my data was locked at the start of this month. After making some calls I came to the conclusion that I apparently used the wrong sim and that they now have unlocked the sim with my unlimited data contract.
I'm expecting a 1500€ bill this month and I'm only a student, I'm able to pay it but I rather would save that money for something important. What are my options in my situation, I know that I take part of the responsibility but that they forgot to unlock my mobile data should play a role in some form?

Just remembered this when I was watching some spooky stuff online, so thought I would post it.
Alot of paranormal stuff has happened to me but this is the weirdest one imo.
I was around 17 and home alone, I checked my phone and saw that I had a missed call from a number that I recognized.
It was weird though, because the number was so familiar but it didn't make any sense until I realized it was our home telephone that we didn't even use anymore since we had mobile phones now.
So I went over and checked on our home telephone, but there were no calls made to my phone, there were no calls made at all.
So when people got home I told them what had happened, and they called the telephone service, since they thought that the telephone was making calls of it's own and that it would cost money, but the service didn't see that any calls had been made either.
Weird.
I just wonder to this day what would happen if I noticed my phone calling and I had answered.
