A list of puns related to "Media Mix"
I'm an editor for social media image films and been getting more into audio recently. If it's a short commercial video with music and a voice over/on camera dialogue, how loud would you roughly mix those two?
I am aware about the standard loudness for films but for a commercial/social media post it's probably much louder, right? I know it always depends on the scene and everything but I need a rough guide line I can try to always start with and then change accordingly.
I heard something like -6dB for Dialogue, -19dB for music and an average loudness of -16 to -14 LUFs. Is that a good guideline to start with?
Why hello fellow sketchbook artists, Iβve come from far lands to ask a rather important question that is: Does anyone know a good mix media sketchbook? I have tried many sketchbooks, from illo to canson I havenβt found one that fully works for me. Either the page is too textured or it is too smooth.
I don't mean shit like Outer Worlds/Outer Wilds where it's understandable, I mean like a mix-up that makes NO sense yet you keep doing it. For me it's Worm and Dune, somehow I keep mixing those two up and I have NO idea why.
Feel free to direct me to a more appropriate sub if the subject matter isn't appropriate.
I wanted to know what people do with the used up, inorganic components of their growing media.
I have a lot of leftover granite and Turface from previous indoor growing binges and I don't really know what to do with them. The materials are very heavy, and I'm not sure if I should just toss it out with my municipal garbage pickup.
I can find that out on my own if that's a possibility, but I'd like to know what others do with soilless media that have, let's say, a dead plant whose roots hold the medium together like a big rock.
Is it practical to break it apart, separate the organic components (roots, bark, etc.), and sterilize the inorganic parts (Turface, granite, perlite, etc.) somehow? Or do most people just throw it away? I don't see a lot of discussions about disposal/reuse, so I'd love some feedback.
Excited to share my first try at using paint and floss to create an embroidery piece! I used acrylic paint on cotton canvas as well as DMC thread. Had lots of fun being creative with this project
